Abstract

The traffic light contains light sources that have different colors of glow. All light sources, respectively, have different geometric shapes, and each color of the glow corresponds to one geometric shape.

Description

The useful model belongs to control devices, namely traffic lights, and concerns the regulation of ground transport traffic.

As you know, traffic lights have light sources of three colors: red (which prohibits traffic); yellow (which warns of a change in the traffic light sign) and green (which allows traffic).

All traffic lights are designed to regulate traffic, and it is impossible to imagine traffic without them, especially in cities. In the world, about a fifth of people are unable to distinguish some colors (color blindness). Because of this, these people are not issued driver's licenses.

But colorblind people distinguish between geometric shapes.

The useful model is based on the task of expanding the functionality of the traffic light so that all people, regardless of whether they are color blind or not, can distinguish the control signals of the traffic light and, accordingly, obtain a driver's license.

The task is solved by the fact that in a new type of traffic light, in addition to having different colors of light, according to a useful model, all light sources also have different geometric shapes.

The essence of the useful model is explained by the drawings: fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 3.

A circular light source with a green color of light (which allows movement) of a traditional traffic light is proposed to be used in improved versions of the traffic light.

The light source, which has a red color (which prohibits movement) at the improved traffic light, remains red, but its shape changes - it can be octagonal (or another shape), like the sign of 2.2 traffic priority signs (passing without stopping is prohibited). The middle light source of yellow color (which warns of a change in the traffic light signal) can be made triangular (a sharp angle upwards - traffic signs) or square, or any other shape.

For example, as railway shunting traffic lights are very low above the ground, the blue light source can be made in the same shape as the red (which prohibits movement) road traffic light, and the white -

Zo is round, like green (which allows movement). Red, yellow and green light sources, which are used on railways to regulate highway traffic, can be made in the same shape as automobile ones.

Then people who do not distinguish between colors will be able to drive almost all types of transport.
