Abstract
2.The method of obtaining wear-resistant bimetallic flat castings includes the uniform placement at the bottom of the foundry of the optimal amount of exothermic mixture, the installation of a flat steel billet thickness from 1 mm to 12 mm, uniform application of a protective oxygen-tight coating on its surface, ignition of the exothermic heat wear-resistant alloy cast iron. In the reaction composition of the exothermic mixture enter the active impurities of titanium dioxide TiO2, set in a percentage of 10 ± 1% to 30 ± 3% by weight of the exothermic mixture. The optimum specific flow rate of the protective oxygen-tight coating is set at the estimated amount of 0.03 ± 0.01 g per square centimeter of the total workpiece area. The technological pause, holding, after ignition of the exothermic mixture to perform rainwater casting of wear-resistant alloy cast iron, is set in the range of 80 ± 8 s to 160 ± 16 s depending on the thickness of the workpiece and the amount of active impurities of titanium dioxide TiO2.
