Abstract

A method of recycling biomass by vermiculture in conditions of technogenic heavy metal contamination uses a biological preparation to reduce the concentration and mobility of heavy metals and includes the manufacture of compost containing an organic component with a fermented component, the creation of composting mode, the introduction of red California worms in the finished substrate and aimed at obtaining high quality biohumus. In the manufacture of compost as a organic component, the biomass of the technogenic contamination zone is used - fallen leaves that are crushed. The destructor is treated with organic components to accelerate biomass decomposition. The "green" waste of cities is used as a fermenting component. Composting mode is maintained for a time established by the technology. Vermiculture is carried out by keeping red California worms in the finished compost for 45 ÷ 60 days in the mode of natural conditions before the formation of biohumus or when creating a "warm technology" of processing the substrate at t = 15 ÷ 25 ° C in the mode of cultivation before the formation of biohumus.
