Abstract

The ironing board (1) comprises an ironing board riser (2) and an ironing surface (3) attached to the ironing board riser (2), and an iron stand (4) which is connected to the ironing surface (3) supported moving relative to the ironing surface (3), while the stand (4) for the iron is made with the possibility of moving away from the ironing surface (3) with the formation of a space (5) between the stand (4) for the iron and the ironing surface (3).

Description

The invention relates to an ironing board containing an ironing board riser and an ironing surface attached to the ironing board riser, and an iron stand connected to the ironing surface, while the iron stand is movably supported relative to the ironing surface.

Such an ironing board is known from document UMO 2012/126043 AT, for example, according to which the iron stand can be pushed under the ironing surface when the ironing board is folded. In this case, the advantage is that the ironing board takes up less space.

Known ironing boards, as well as ironing boards with an iron stand attached rigidly to the ironing surface, have the problem that the ironing surface cannot be fully used in the area of the iron stand. In this area, it is impossible to wrap the laundry around the ironing surface for ironing.

The task of the invention is to provide an ironing board in which the ironing surface can be fully used for ironing.

This task is solved with the help of features according to clause 1 of the claims. Dependent clauses belong to the preferred implementation options.

To solve the problem of the invention, the stand for the iron with the possibility of movement is supported relative to the ironing surface, while the possibility of separating the stand for the iron from the ironing surface is provided so that a space is formed between the stand for the iron and the ironing surface.

This space can be used to wrap the laundry around the ironing surface also in the area of the iron stand so that the entire area of the ironing surface, including the edge in the area of the iron stand, was available for ironing.

The stand for the iron can be moved relative to the ironing surface. This means that the iron stand can be positioned differently relative to the ironing board. The possibility of changing its position leads to ease of operation.

The stand for the iron is preferably connected to the ironing surface by means of at least one retaining element. The holding element is preferably rigidly connected to the ironing board, and the stand for the iron is made with the possibility of moving on

From the holding element to provide space between the ironing board and the holding element. Such a connection contains a simple and inexpensive connection between the stand for the iron and the ironing surface.

The holding element can be made in the form of a bracket. In a simple configuration, the retaining element is made as an O-shaped metal bracket. Here, the iron stand is guided along two opposite legs of the staple and is movably supported along said two legs. The clip section connecting the two legs provides loss-proof storage for the iron stand. In addition, the specified area can serve as a support surface when the folded ironing board can stand on a bracket and be stored in such a way as to save space. In this way, the holding element can form a riser element when storing the folded ironing board.

The retaining element is preferably attached to the underside of the ironing surface.

Ease of manufacture is ensured by attaching the holding element to the ironing board, while the entire upper side of the ironing surface is available for ironing.

In an alternative embodiment, the stand for the iron can be attached to the holding element both with the possibility of movement and with the possibility of tilting. Thus, the space available for ironing is further increased.

Fixing means may be attached to the iron stand to fix the iron stand relative to the holding element. The stand for the iron can, for this purpose, be provided with couplings or similar elements, for example, of a material with a higher coefficient of friction, located in the holes of the couplings, to prevent independent movement of the stand for the iron. In addition, it is provided that the holding element is equipped with recesses, for example, in the form of a plurality of cutouts, into which sections of the iron stand can be clipped.

The ironing surface preferably has two longitudinal sides and at least one narrow side, with the iron stand attached to the narrow side. This also results in a space-saving iron stand configuration.

Some embodiments of the invention of the ironing board are described in more detail below with reference to the drawings. The drawings show, in each case schematically:

The drawings show an ironing board 1 containing a riser 2 of the ironing board and an ironing surface 3 attached to a riser 2 of the ironing board. The ironing board stand 2 is made in the form of a scissor-type folding frame, and provides the ability to change the height of the ironing surface 3. In addition, the ironing board stand 2 can be folded to save space so that the ironing board 1 can be stored at the end.

The ironing surface Z consists of a frame that is covered with a flat material, in this case - a metal mesh. The upper side of the ironing surface C forms a cover stretched over the frame of the ironing surface 3. The ironing surface C has two longitudinal sides 8, 9 and a narrow side 10.

The side opposite the narrow side 10 has a trapezoidal configuration. The stand 4 for the iron is attached to the narrow side 10.

Both the ironing surface 3 and the riser 2 of the ironing board contain metal material.

Stand 4 for the iron is made of heat-resistant plastic.

The holder 11 of the cord is attached to the stand 4 for the iron.

The holder 11 for the cord is installed in the stand 4 for the iron and is foldable. Stand 4 for the iron is additionally connected to socket 12. Socket 12 can be selected depending on the country.

The stand 4 for the iron is attached to the ironing surface C with the help of the retaining element 6. The retaining element b here is made as an O-shaped bracket and consists of a metal material. The holding element 6 is attached to the lower side of the ironing surface 3.

The movable iron stand 4 is connected to the holding element 6 so that the iron stand 4 can be moved away from the ironing surface 3, providing a space 5 between the iron stand 4 and the ironing surface 3. The area of the ironing surface 3 suitable for ironing , is increased by space 5.

The holding element b is provided with the possibility of tilting the stand 4 for the iron relative to the ironing surface 3. Thus, the angle between the plane of the ironing board C and the plane of the surface of the stand 4 for the iron is less than 180".

Figure 1 shows the above-described ironing board 1 in a side view. In addition to the above-described elements, figure 1 shows additional fixing means 13, which provide the possibility of adjusting the height of the riser 2 of the ironing board relative to the ironing surface 3.

Figure 2 shows the previously described ironing board 1 in a top view. Figure 2 additionally shows that the ironing board riser 2 has a leg 14, with the help of which the ironing board 1 can stand firmly on the floor.

Figure C shows the section of the stand 4 for the iron of the ironing board 1 in detail. In this figure, it is especially clearly shown that the holding element b is bent to the side relative to the ironing surface 3, so that the stand 4 for the iron is oriented at an angle to the ironing surface 3. Moreover, the fixing means 7 located on the holding element b are shown, which allows fix the stand 4 for the iron in different positions on the holding element b. Fixing means 7 are made in the form of recesses. As an alternative, the fixing means 7 can also be made in the form of protrusions.

The holding element 6 is bent at the end facing away from the ironing surface 3. With the help of the bend 15, the stand 4 for the iron is kept firmly from falling from the holding element 6, on one side. In addition, the bend 15 allows the ironing board 1 to stand firmly in the folded position.

Figure 4 shows the ironing board 1 in the area of the stand 4 for the iron, in a top view and in a bottom view. In the embodiment according to figure 4, the stand 4 for the iron is moved to the ironing surface C so that the ironing board 1 can be stored vertically, saving space.

Figure 5 shows in detail the ironing board 1 on the section of the stand 4 under the iron, in a top view and in a bottom view. In the embodiment according to figure 5, the stand 4 under the iron is distant from the ironing surface C, forming a space 5 between the ironing surface C and the stand 4 under the iron, so that also the edge of the ironing surface 3 facing the space 5 was available for ironing. The stand 4 for the iron can be snapped in the desired position on the holding element 6, as shown in figure 5, and as shown in figure 4.

FORMULA OF THE INVENTION 1. An ironing board (1) containing a riser (2) of an ironing board and an ironing surface (3) attached to a riser (2) of an ironing board and a stand (4) for an iron connected to an ironing surface (3), supported with the possibility of movement relative to the ironing surface (3), which is characterized by the fact that the stand (4) for the iron is made with the possibility of moving away from the ironing surface (3) to provide space (5) between the stand (4) for the iron and the ironing surface (3 ), while the stand (4) for the iron is attached to the ironing surface (3) by means of at least one retaining element (6) made in the form of an O-shaped bracket, while the section of the bracket connecting the two legs serves as a support surface so that the retaining element (b) forms a riser element when storing the folded ironing board (1). 2. Ironing board according to claim 1, which differs in that the stand (4) for the iron is made with the possibility of movement relative to the ironing surface (3). C. Ironing board according to claim 1, which is characterized by the fact that the holding element (b) is attached to the lower side of the ironing surface (3). 4. Ironing board according to any one of claims 1-3, which is characterized in that the stand (4) for the iron is connected with the possibility of movement and/or with the possibility of deflection to at least one holding element (6). 5. An ironing board according to any one of claims 1-4, which is characterized in that the fixing means (7) for fixing the stand (4) for the iron relative to at least one holding element (6) are attached to the stand (4) for the iron. 6. Ironing board according to any of claims 1-5, which is characterized in that the ironing surface (3) has two longitudinal sides (8, 9) and at least one narrow side (10), while the stand (4) for the iron attached to the narrow side (10).
