Спіральний відцентровий вентилятор утворений конструктивним вузлом, що містить всередині циліндричного кожуха (1) лійку (2) конвергенції повітря і лійку (3) дивергенції повітря, між якими знаходиться канал проходження повітря, гвинт (4) нагнітання повітря, пов'язаний з привідним двигуном (5). Для покращення звукоізоляції лійка (2) конвергенції повітря, яка діє як вхід для повітря спірального відцентрового вентилятора, і лійка (3) дивергенції повітря аксіально відділені одна від одної, причому між найвужчими їх частинами встановлений звукопоглинач (7).
