Abstract

The invention relates to agricultural machinery, particularly to separators for separation of grain mixtures by size and aerodynamic properties of their components. The proposed pneumatic centrifugal grain separator comprises a pneumatic centrifugal winnower with a dispenser of grain mixture feed and centrifugal screens mounted on a frame with a grain mixture thrower of the pneumatic centrifugal winnower, which has guiding and throwing conical surfaces mounted on a horizontal disk, on which blades are fixed, whose nearer to the axis of thrower rotation edges are located at a distance of more than half the size of the outlet of the dispenser of grain mixture feed, mounted above the thrower. In the blades of the grain mixture thrower over the throwing conical surface cutouts are made creating slots between the lower edges of the blade walls and generatrices of throwing conical surface. Applying the invention allows to achieve quality improvement of pneumatic separation of grain mixture, that increases the separator efficiency.
