Abstract
A method to form a replacement brood stock of peled under scale application, which includes growing of different age groups of peled and carrying out selection and appraisal at the end of each subsequent growing season. The larvae are bred in plastic trays up to the age of 40-45 days for achieving a weight of 0.3-0.4 g, after which the further cultivation of different age groups of peled is carried out in pools under conditions of constant temperature regime. In the course of the entire growing period feeding with artificial feeds is used.
