Abstract
Hydro-electric power plant includes barrier structure and building of power plant with hydro-units, spiral chambers and straight-axis suction pipes equipped with gates and connected with one water conduit. The last one is displaced to side from axis of units, arranged with two-side outlet and is separated in height into two compartments one of which is connected to flow-through part of spiral chambers, the other one – to flow-through section of suction pipes. The gates are taken out from area of suction pipe. Placed at the ends of the water conduit and arranged as automated with possibility of closing in turns of inlets to water conduit at water flow passing in two opposite directions.
