Данное изобретение относится к способу лечения ВИЧ, в частности способ профилактической вакцинации, который включает, по крайней мере: а) введение больному первого антигена, который имеет эпитопы с широким спектром нейтрализующего действия проксимально расположенного на мембране эктодомена (ПМЭД) gp41, и б) введение тому же пациенту второго антигена, который содержит модифицированный полипептид, который состоит с трех смежных сегментов N, L и С, представлен формулой N-L-C, и состоит из N сегмента, представленного аминокислотами 540-592 gp41, С сегмента, представленного аминокислотами 618-664 gp41, и L сегмента, представленного SEQ ID NO: 16.
