Abstract
The invention relates to scintillation engineering, in particular to plastic scintillators able to separate neutrons and gamma-quantums by form of scintillation pulse ( EMBED Equation.3 -separation) and can be used in dosimetry and in radiometry, in experiments in nuclear physics and high-energy physics. The plastic scintillator for EMBED Equation.3 - separation is made on basis of vinyl-aromatic polymer with addition of polivynilbiphenyl (PVBP), it includes as primary luminescent admixture biphenyl, and as secondary luminescent admixture - 4-di-(2-(5-phenyloxazolyl))-benzene (POPOP). The technical result of the invention is in decrease of cost, increase of quality of EMBED Equation.3 - separation ( EMBED Equation.3 from 1.95 to 2.21 within broad power range) and increase of long-term stability.
