Abstract

A vehicle seat suspension comprises a pivot guide mechanism, a pneumatic resilient element with an air feed line, a platform of a chair and a support base of the vehicle. The guide mechanism is made in the form of two crosswise pivotally connected in the middle of pairs of levers, a pneumatic resilient element interacts with support platform and base around a pair of respective hinges and is designed as a single pneumatic elastodamping mechanism comprising chambers of constant and variable volume, the chamber of variable volume is formed by a housing and a plunger, which are tightly interconnected by a rubber-cord sleeve along closed contours, wherein the chambers of constant and variable volume are interconnected by a controller of stiffness and relative damping, and an axial channel of the plunger is connected to the supply air line of the vehicle via a controller of nominal position of the chair and switching off charging and drainage at unloading the chair. The invention can be used as unified means for protection of operators of transport, road building and agricultural machinery against disturbing effects of shock and vibration nature of supporting base of chair.
