Abstract

The invention relates to a beverage dispensing device (1) for a beverage (2), comprising a heat exchanger (3) that is operatively connected to a heat transfer medium (4), in particular water, and a control unit (5). It is the aim of the invention to reduce the energy consumption in the beverage dispensing device. To this end, it is provided that the control unit (5), depending on a beverage flow and an actual heat absorption capacity of the heat transfer medium (4), controls at least one assembly (6) or (7) and regulates the target heat absorption capacity.
