Abstract
The invention relates to control valves, in particular to thermostatic valves for heating appliances (radiators, convectors, etc). The proposed thermostatic valve comprises a movable rod that interacts with a thermostatic head at one end and with the smaller shoulder of a stroke-intensifying lever, wherein the larger shoulder of the stroke-intensifying lever interacts with a valve which is mounted with a gap with respect to a seat, the liquid-free cavity is separated from the liquid-containing cavity by means of a hermetic, flexible rolling diaphragm and the stroke-intensifying lever passes through said rolling diaphragm. The aim of the invention is to increase the accuracy with which a thermostatic valve controls the flow rate of a heat carrier by eliminating the effect of the pressure of the heat carrier, and also to improve reliability by reducing forces on the moving elements by using a rolling diaphragm for sealing purposes.
