Abstract

A fruit fly trap includes an upper cover having a cover top, a connecting cap connected to the upper cover and located below the cover top, and a shield removably covered on the upper cover. The connecting cap has a cap top, a cap periphery connected to the cap top and used to connect a container, a connecting hole formed in the cap periphery and used to connect to the container, a cap bottom edge formed at the bottom of the cap periphery, and an inlet and outlet hole passing through the cap top and connected to the connecting hole. The shield has a cover top located above the cover top, a cover edge connected to the cover top periphery, and a cover bottom edge formed at the bottom of the cover edge; the cover edge surrounds the upper cover and extends downward to surround the cap periphery of the connecting cap, and the cover bottom edge is lower than the cap bottom edge. Thereby, the shield can effectively prevent the sprayed pesticide from entering the connecting hole through the inlet hole and contaminating the bait liquid contained in the container, and can be quickly and reliably covered on the upper cover.

Fruit fly trap

This work is related to fruit fly trapping technology, in particular to a fruit fly trap that can be used to conveniently and effectively cover the fruit fly.

The known fruit fly trap contains a trap liquid and has an inlet and outlet hole for the trap liquid to enter and trap the fruit flies. However, when spraying pesticides, the pesticides easily enter the inlet and outlet holes of the known fruit fly trap and contaminate the trap liquid, causing the trap liquid to deteriorate and lose its effect. The detailed structure of the known fruit fly trap can be referred to the Republic of China's patent Nos. 366709, 529350, M323808, M508209, etc.

To solve the above problems, when spraying pesticides, the known fruit fly trap may be sealed with a bag such as a plastic bag to prevent the pesticide from entering the inlet and outlet holes, and the plastic bag may be removed after the spraying of the pesticide is completed. However, the use of the plastic bag is not only time-consuming and laborious to set up and remove, but also the used plastic bag is easily thrown away, which is not only unenvironmental but also causes secondary pollution. Therefore, the known fruit fly trap still needs to be improved.

In view of the above shortcomings, the main purpose of the present invention is to provide a fruit fly trap that can conveniently and quickly cover the inlet and outlet holes to prevent the sprayed pesticide from passing through the inlet and outlet holes and contaminating the trap liquid.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the fruit fly trap provided by the invention comprises an upper cover, a connecting cap and a shield. The upper cover has a cover top; the connecting cap is connected to the upper cover and is located below the cover top; the connecting cap has a cap top, a cap periphery connected to the cap top and used to connect to the cap top of a container, a connecting hole formed in the cap periphery and used to connect to the container, a cap bottom edge formed at a bottom of the cap periphery, and an inlet and outlet penetrating the cap top and connected to the connecting hole. hole; the mask is a removable cover disposed on the upper cover and has a cover top located above the cover top of the upper cover, a cover edge connected to a periphery of the cover top, and a cover bottom edge formed at a bottom of the cover edge; the cover edge surrounds the outside of the upper cover and extends downward to surround the periphery of the connecting cap, and the cover bottom edge of the mask is lower than the cap bottom edge of the connecting cap.

By completely covering the connecting cap with the cover edge of the mask, that is, the cover bottom edge of the mask is lower than the cap bottom edge of the connecting cap, the sprayed pesticide can be effectively prevented from entering the connecting hole through the inlet and outlet holes and contaminating the bait liquid contained in the container, and the mask can be conveniently and quickly covered on the upper cover, thereby achieving the purpose of the present invention.

Preferably, the upper cover may have a cover periphery connected to a periphery of the cover top, a bottom of the cover periphery is formed with a cover bottom edge, and the cover bottom edge is lower than the inlet and outlet hole of the connecting cap so that the cover bottom edge forms a shielding effect on the inlet and outlet hole of the connecting cap.

Preferably, the cover periphery may have concavo-convex patterns, and an inner wall of the cover edge is in contact with the concavo-convex patterns of the cover periphery. In this way, when the shield is covered on the upper cover, the shield can be stably positioned on the upper cover.

Preferably, the top of the upper cover fits tightly against the top of the shield to prevent pesticides from entering between the top of the cover and the top of the shield.

Preferably, the upper cover has a first hanging portion arranged on the cover top, the shield has an escape hole penetrating the cover top, and the first hanging portion of the upper cover passes through the escape hole of the shield to facilitate the assembly and separation of the upper cover and the shield.

Preferably, the shield has a second hanging portion disposed on the top of the shield, so that the shield can be easily hung when removed from the upper cover.

Preferably, a first through hole is formed through the first hanging portion of the upper cover, and a second through hole is formed through the second hanging portion of the shield, and the first through hole of the upper cover corresponds to the second through hole of the shield, so that both the upper cover and the shield can be conveniently hung.

Preferably, the container has a cap connection portion, and the connecting cap has a lower connection portion arranged around the cap, and the lower connection portion is used to connect the cap connection portion of the container so that the inlet and outlet hole can be connected to the container through the connecting hole. In this way, the assembly and use of the cap connection portion and the container are convenient.

Preferably, the container has a shoulder, and the bottom edge of the cover is used to abut against the shoulder of the container. Please refer to Figures 1 to 8, the fruit fly trap provided by a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a top cover 10, a connecting cap 20, a mask 30, and a container 40.

The upper cover 10 has a cover top 11, a first hanging part 12, a cover perimeter 13, a cover bottom edge 131, a center column 15, a plurality of ribs 16, and a plurality of claws 17. The cover top 11 is conical and located at the top, the first hanging part 12 is connected to the middle of the top of the cover top 11, and the first hanging part 12 is provided with a first through hole 121 for a rope or a hook to be hung on a plant or a trellis, the cover perimeter 13 is cylindrical and connected to the bottom of the cover top 11, the cover bottom edge 131 is formed at the bottom of the cover perimeter 13, the center column 15 is connected to the middle of the bottom of the cover top 11, the ribs 16 protrude from the bottom surface of the cover top 11 in a cross shape and are connected to the center column 15, and the claws 17 are connected to the bottom of the ribs 16. The outer surface of the cover 13 is formed with concave and convex patterns to facilitate taking and carding.

In addition to being in the form of a sheet with the first through hole 121 as shown, the first hanging portion 12 may also be a hook or similar structure so as to be directly hung on a plant or a trellis.

The connecting cap 20 has a cap top 21 , a cap periphery 22 , a connecting hole 23 , a lower connecting portion 24 , a column hole 25 , a plurality of slots 26 , a plurality of locking holes 27 , and a plurality of inlet and outlet holes 28 . The cap top 21 corresponds to the bottom of the cap top 11 of the upper cover 10, the cap periphery 22 is connected to the bottom of the periphery of the cap top 21, the connecting hole 23 is formed in the cap periphery 22, the lower connecting portion 24 is an internal thread formed on the hole wall of the connecting hole 23, the column hole 25 is for the middle column 15 of the upper cover 10 to be inserted, the slot 26 is for the rib 16 corresponding to the upper cover 10 to be inserted and connected to the column hole 25, the card hole 27 is connected to the slot 26 for the card claw 17 of the upper cover 10 to be inserted, and the entry and exit hole 28 is opened from the cap top 21 to the connecting hole 23, and the entry and exit hole 28 is for fruit flies to enter. A cap bottom edge 221 is formed at the bottom of the cap periphery 22 , a baffle 222 is formed inside the cap periphery 22 , and concave-convex patterns are formed outside the cap periphery 22 to facilitate the rotation of the connecting cap 20 .

In this embodiment, after the upper cover 10 and the connecting cap 20 are assembled, the cover bottom edge 131 of the upper cover 10 is lower than the inlet and outlet hole 28 of the connecting cap 20, but the invention is not limited thereto. The height position is based on the axial position of the upper and lower assembly as a reference.

The mask 30 has a mask top 31 , a hole 32 , a second hanging portion 33 , a mask side 34 , and a mask bottom edge 341 . The cover top 31 is cone-shaped and fits tightly against the top surface of the cover top 11 of the upper cover 10. The escape hole 32 is opened in the middle of the cover top 31 for the first hanging part 12 of the upper cover 10 to pass through. The second hanging part 33 is connected to the cover top 31. The second hanging part 33 is penetrated by a second through hole 331 for a rope or a hook to be hung on plants, trellises or the upper cover 10. The first through hole 121 of the upper cover 10 corresponds to the second through hole 331 axially. The cover edge 34 is connected to the periphery of the cover top 31 and extends downward. The cover bottom edge 341 is formed by the bottom of the cover edge 34, and a cover chamber 35 is formed in the cover edge 34. In this embodiment, the second through hole 331 is connected to the escape hole 32. When the mask 30 is placed on the upper cover 10, the bottom edge 341 of the mask 30 is lower than the bottom edge 131 of the connecting cap 20, and the inner wall of the mask edge 34 is attached to the concave and convex pattern of the cover periphery 13 to position each other.

In addition to being in the form of a sheet with a second through hole 331 as shown, the second hanging portion 33 may also be a hook or the like so as to be directly hooked on a plant, a trellis or the upper cover 10 .

The container 40 is connected to the connecting cap 20 for containing the bait and trapping the fruit flies. The container 40 has a cap connection portion 41, a stop wall 42, a shoulder 43, and a container 44. The cap connection portion 41 in this embodiment is a bottle mouth with threads and is screwed to the lower connection portion 24 of the connecting cap 20. The stop wall 42 can block the stop wall 222 of the connecting cap 20. The shoulder 43 is connected to the cap connection portion 41 in a cone shape, and the container 44 is connected to the shoulder 43 in a straight tube shape. In this way, the inlet and outlet hole 28 can be connected to the container 44 of the container 40 through the connecting hole 23.

In this embodiment, when the mask 30 is placed on the upper cover 10, the bottom edge 341 of the mask 30 covers the shoulder 43 of the container 40 in contact with each other. In this way, the mask 30 and the container 40 can completely close the upper cover 10 and the connecting cap 20, but the invention is not limited to contact.

When spraying pesticides, as shown in Figures 3 and 5, the shield 30 is covered on the upper cover 10. At this time, the cover edge 34 of the shield 30 completely covers the connecting cap 20, the cover bottom edge 341 of the shield 30 covers the shoulder 43 of the container 40, and the cover top 11 of the upper cover 10 is tightly against the cover top 31 of the shield 30. In other words, the shield 30 and the container 40 can completely seal the upper cover 10 and the connecting cap 20 to prevent the inlet and outlet holes 28 from connecting to the outside, making the covering effect more complete. In this way, it is possible to prevent the pesticide mist from entering the container 40 through the connecting hole 23 from the inlet and outlet holes 28 of the connecting cap 20 and contaminating the lure contained in the container 44, thereby achieving the creative purpose of this creation.

When there is no pesticide spraying, the shield 30 can be removed upwards, as shown in Figure 9. At this time, the second hanging portion 33 of the shield 30 can be connected to the upper cover 10 by a rope or a hook, or the second hanging portion 33 of the shield 30 can also be connected to the plant or the trellis by a rope or a hook.

As shown in FIG. 10 , another design of the mask 30 of the present invention is shown. The difference from the aforementioned mask 30 lies in the shape and position of the second through hole 331 , that is, the second through hole 331 is not connected to the escape hole 32 .

In addition to the above implementation examples, this creation can also be implemented in the following ways (not shown):

For example, the invention is not limited to include the container 40. Secondly, the container 40 can be realized by using a common commercially available PET bottle for drinking water. Alternatively, the cover edge 34 of the shield 30 can also be extended to cover the container 44 of the container 40, which also falls within the patent scope of the invention.

In addition, the ribs 16, claws 17, slots 26, holes 27 and access holes 28 are not limited to the number of the ribs 16, claws 17, slots 26, holes 27 and access holes 28, and only one of each is also acceptable. Furthermore, the shoulder 43 of the container 40 is not limited to the cone shape as mentioned above, and may also be a flat disc shape.

Claims (10)

A fruit fly trap comprises: an upper cover having a cover top; a connecting cap connected to the upper cover and located below the cover top; the connecting cap has a cap top, a cap periphery connected to the cap top and used to connect to a container, a connecting hole formed in the cap periphery and used to connect to the container, a cap bottom edge formed at a bottom of the cap periphery, and an inlet and outlet hole penetrating the cap top and connected to the connecting hole; A mask is removably disposed on the upper cover; the mask has a cover top located above the cover top of the upper cover, a cover edge connected to a periphery of the cover top, and a cover bottom edge formed at a bottom of the cover edge; the cover edge surrounds the outer side of the upper cover and extends downward to surround the periphery of the connecting cap, and the cover bottom edge of the mask is lower than the cap bottom edge of the connecting cap. The fruit fly trap as described in claim 1, wherein the upper cover has a first hanging portion arranged on the top of the cover, the mask has an escape hole passing through the top of the cover, and the first hanging portion of the upper cover passes through the escape hole of the mask. A fruit fly trap as described in claim 5, wherein the mask has a second hanging portion disposed on the top of the mask. The fruit fly trap as described in claim 6, wherein the first hanging portion of the upper cover is provided with a first through hole, the second hanging portion of the mask is provided with a second through hole, and the first through hole of the upper cover corresponds to the second through hole of the mask. The fruit fly trap as described in claim 1, wherein the container has a cap connection portion, and the connecting cap has a lower connection portion arranged around the cap for connecting to the cap connection portion of the container, so that the inlet and outlet hole is connected to the container through the connecting hole. A fruit fly trap as described in claim 8, wherein the container has a shoulder, and the bottom edge of the cover is used to abut against the shoulder of the container.
