Description
This creation is related to medical care, especially a structure for assisting with turning over.
The incidence of compression injuries is a clinical effectiveness indicator and a quality indicator of medical care in Taiwan. The occurrence of compression injuries is affected by many factors, including internal and external factors. Internal factors include age, unstable arterial blood pressure, poor consciousness and mental state, mobility problems or neurological deficits, malnutrition, infection, and some chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease, as well as incontinence. External factors include time, shear force, friction, humid environment, and norepinephrine perfusion. Comprehensive consideration of these factors will help understand and prevent the occurrence of compression injuries.
Furthermore, for cardiology and surgery and intensive care units, their critically ill patients are at high risk of compression injuries due to factors such as high severity of illness, complex conditions, long-term bed rest, unstable blood flow and poor nutrition. For example, once a critically ill patient suffers compression injuries, it is usually accompanied by pain, body surface deformation, infection, etc., which leads to an increase in mortality rate, and even an increase in hospital stay and nursing care hours. At the same time, nursing hours and costs increase, and even cause an increase in mortality rate. Therefore, how to prevent the occurrence of wear and tear is an important issue in critical care.
To this end, the following steps can be taken to prevent stress injuries:
1. Check: Check your skin from head to toe every day.
2. Turning over: Absolutely bedridden patients and patients at high risk of compression injuries should be turned over at least once every two hours.
3. Sleeping on your side: The angle between your back and the bed should not exceed 30 degrees, and place the pillow between your knees and ankles.
4. Auxiliary materials: Choose a bed surface with pressure-reducing support, such as a special foam mattress.
5. Protective pad: When lying flat, the elbows, heels, coccyx and other bony protrusions should be protected with protective pads.
6. Raise the lower limbs: When raising the head of the bed, the lower limbs should be raised to reduce shear force.
7. Keep dry: Incontinence patients should keep the skin of the anus and perineum clean and dry.
8. Taboo: Avoid massaging bony protrusions or areas where the skin has become red.
However, the current clinical method of turning the patient over is usually to turn the patient sideways using a thick cloth pad, and then place pillows on the bed and back to keep the patient lying on his side. However, for heavier patients, the pillows are easily flattened, resulting in ineffective turning and increasing the chance of compression injuries.
The main purpose of this invention is to provide a turning-over assisting structure, which can be used to turn over on either the left or right side, and can reduce the pressure on the same part during the turning process.
Therefore, in order to achieve the above purpose, the invention discloses a turning-over assisting structure mainly including a body, a first assisting unit and a second assisting unit, wherein the body has a first end and a second end; the first assisting unit is connected to the first end of the body by a third end, so that a fourth end of the first assisting unit away from the third end can be displaced relative to the body; the second assisting unit is connected to the second end of the body by a fifth end staggered from the first assisting unit, so that a sixth end of the second assisting unit away from the fifth end can be displaced relative to the body. Accordingly, when the first assisting unit or the second assisting unit moves relative to the body, turning-over operations on different sides can be performed.
In one embodiment, the first auxiliary unit includes a first connecting portion, defined as the fourth end, and capable of moving between a first position and a second position.
