Abstract

Flip-top linked table and chairs

This invention is about a connected table and chair structure that can change the position of the table top to the left or right according to the use of different hands (left-handed or right-handed).

At present, the tables and chairs generally used in school classrooms, auditoriums or presentations usually have an L-shaped table top for students, audiences or listeners to take notes. The table top is formed with an armrest for users to support their elbows. However, since the armrest is located on the right side of the table top, it can only be used by right-handed people (i.e. right-handed people), but it is relatively inconvenient for left-handed users (i.e. left-handed people), causing trouble for left-handed people in use.

Therefore, there is a new patent case No. M427849 "Improvement of Table and Chair Structure" announced on May 1, 2012 in the Republic of China. It discloses that it at least includes: a seat, a table top and a hinge. The seat has a body and a backrest extending upward from one side of the seat. The table top has a bracket and a table top extending from the bracket. One end of the bracket is hinged to the back of the backrest, and the bracket is slightly L-shaped. It extends along the horizontal direction of the backrest at the hinge, and then extends to the front of the backrest to connect to the table top.
