安裝吸頂燈通常是個較困難的工作，因為它是相反地心引力，尤其施工於天花板高處，脖子與眼睛往往會因受力碰撞物件受傷，對於電工稀缺的今日，若欲更換自家使用多年的傳統燈泡為省電的LED(發光二極體)吸頂燈，通常也只能買回家後，依說明書指示自行安裝(DIY)。 Installing ceiling lights is usually a difficult task because it goes against gravity, especially when installed high up on the ceiling.
