Description

就食器Eating utensils

This creation is related to the technology of auxiliary tableware, especially a kind of eating utensil.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, cerebrovascular disease ranks among the top four causes of death among Taiwanese in 2020, and is also one of the main causes of physical disabilities in adults. About 88% of stroke patients will face reduced muscle endurance or weakness after the onset of the disease, which will affect their independence and quality of daily life. Rehabilitation is particularly critical for such patients. Early rehabilitation treatment can improve physical disabilities, enhance patients' self-care ability, and promote a good rehabilitation prognosis. However, this group of patients often face psychological challenges. Dependence on others may accumulate a sense of loss and produce negative emotions such as grief and depression. During hospitalization, the mission of nurses is to provide timely support, help patients increase their ability to take care of themselves, reduce their uncertainty, and improve the overall rehabilitation effect. At the same time, if some kind of auxiliary tableware is provided so that users can eat by themselves, the waste of liquid food can be effectively avoided.

In clinical practice, we also found that the daily life of stroke patients may be affected by eating difficulties. Some patients find it difficult to eat by themselves, and food keeps falling. This situation not only affects nutrient intake, but may also cause patients to feel depressed. Therefore, nursing staff should pay special attention to the eating conditions of such patients, provide appropriate support and assistance, and improve patients' eating conditions through appropriate dietary aids. For example, providing a certain type of auxiliary tableware that allows users to eat by themselves can effectively avoid the waste of liquid food and enhance the patient's eating experience. This is not only beneficial to physical health, but also helps to improve the patient's mental state and reduce the psychological burden that may arise. In general, a comprehensive medical and nursing strategy is the key to combating the effects of stroke. It not only focuses on the recovery of physical functions, but also pays attention to the patient's mental health, so that they can more fully recover to their best living conditions.

The ladle 20 has a body 21 and a first end 22 and a second end 23 located at two opposite ends of the body 21, and the body 21 is connected to the container 10 by the first end 22. In this example, the body 21 is generally plate-shaped, and its outline shape is similar to the ladle structure, but it is not limited to this. The specific structure of the body 21 can still be changed arbitrarily according to actual needs. In addition, the ladle 20 can be made of plastic, silicone, rubber, stainless steel or other materials of the same level as the food container 10. Furthermore, in this example, the container 10 and the ladle 20 are made of silicone material, which is resistant to high and low temperatures, does not release harmful substances when heated, does not cause harm to the human body after long-term use, and is easy to clean. Furthermore, the container 10 is made of silicone material and is flexible, so it can be easily pressed, so this feeding utensil can also be used as a rehabilitation tool to achieve the effect of killing two birds with one stone.

As shown in FIG. 3 , the flow channel 30 extends from the first end 22 toward the second end 23 and is disposed on the body 21, so that the flow channel 30 is connected to the interior of the container 10, and an opening 31 is formed on the second end 23 side of the body 21. Furthermore, the profile of the flow channel 30 varies with the shape of the body 21. In this example, the inner diameter of the flow channel 30 increases from small to large and then gradually decreases from the first end 22 toward the second end 23. In other embodiments, the profile of the flow channel 30 can be arbitrarily changed according to the implementation requirements.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 , the through holes 40 are located within the range covered by the flow channel 30 on the body 21 and are arranged on the body 21 at intervals. Each of the through holes 40 extends from one end surface of the body 21 toward the inside of the body 21, and connects the flow channel 30 of the body 21 with the outside of the scoop 20. In other possible embodiments, the number of the through holes 40 can be increased or decreased as needed to adjust the flow rate of liquid food supplied to different feeding containers.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 , the neck 50 is a tubular structure and is fixedly connected between the scoop 20 and the container 10 in a bridge manner. The outer diameter of the neck 50 is smaller than the outer diameter of the container 10 and forms a tapered shape. In this example, the neck 50 is integrally formed at one end of the first shell 11 and communicates with the accommodating space 13, and the neck 50 can be plugged into the scoop 20. In other possible embodiments, the scoop 20, the neck 50 and the first shell 11 are integrally formed.

The grip portion 60 has a plurality of stoppers 61, which are separately arranged on the container 10, and each of the stoppers 61 has a long strip 611, which is connected to the container 10 at two opposite ends in the length direction, and a receiving space for accommodating human fingers is formed between the strip 611 and the container 10.

Based on the above components, the usage of this embodiment is briefly described.

13。First, liquid food is injected into the accommodating space 13 via the injection port.

Then, the user's fingers are respectively inserted into the accommodating spaces of the corresponding limiting members 61, so that the user can firmly hold the eating vessel and will not drop it due to carelessness or insufficient gripping strength.

Then, the user puts the ladle 20 into the mouth and tilts the feeding container appropriately, and the liquid food flows from the accommodating space 13 through the neck 50 and the flow channel 30 in sequence under the action of gravity, and flows out from the opening 31 without problems such as spilling, leakage, and overflow. Furthermore, when the user holds the grip 60, the container 10 can be compressed in a compressive manner to apply pressure to the liquid food in the container 10.

In addition, when the liquid food flows in the flow channel 30, the liquid food can also overflow from the flow channel 30 through the through holes 40, thereby increasing the supply flow rate of the liquid food. Accordingly, the user is not limited to stroke patients and the elderly, and even children over two years old and children who are learning how to use chopsticks can eat by themselves and effectively avoid the waste of liquid food.
