[Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent No. 2769965

安裝有D-sub連接器的電路基板被收納在PC(Personal Computer:個人電腦)等設備的框體中。 The circuit board on which the D-sub connector is mounted is housed in a casing of a device such as a PC (Personal Computer). The D-sub connector is exposed to the outside of the casing, and can be connected to a connector (the other side D-sub connector) of the front end of a wire harness extending from an external device such as a monitor.

However, the D-sub connector is fixed to the circuit board, and its position with respect to the housing cannot be changed. Therefore, the degree of freedom in mounting the counterpart D-sub connector to the D-sub connector is lowered. The same problem exists in electrical connectors other than D-sub connectors.

A chamfered portion is provided at an edge of the portion of the first portion 64a that is open on the upper surface 56a. According to this configuration, the contact 22 displaced in the fitting direction D3 can be guided to the inside of the first portion 64a.

The first portion 64a has a step portion 64c disposed adjacent to the chamfered portion. The step portion 64c is disposed at a position facing the fitting direction D3 from the chamfered portion. The stepped portion 64c expands in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction Z1 and functions as a stopper that prevents the contact 53 from coming off the receiving hole portion 64. The first portion 64a and the second portion 64b are continuous.

63、63。The second portion 64b is provided as a portion of the fixing piece portion 69 to be described later of the fixed contact 53. In the present embodiment, the second portion 64b extends in the thickness direction Z1 and is opened at the bottom portion 56b of the casing main body 56. The second portion 64b does not penetrate the case main body 56, and is not visible from the outside of the case 51 when the D-sub connector 50 is viewed in a plan view. On the other hand, sliding members 63 and 63 are disposed outside the outer casing 51.

As shown in FIGS. 2A, 2B, 6A, 6B, 7A to 7C, and 8 , the sliding members 63 and 63 are housed in the second connector in the casing 2 in the D-sub connector 50. Further, the sliding members 63, 63 may be disposed only in a part of the casing main body 56 in the lateral direction X1.

The sliding members 63 and 63 are formed in a shape that can be fitted to the guiding portions 17c and 17c. In the present embodiment, when the D-sub connector 50 is viewed from the front, the sliding members 63 and 63 are formed in a rectangular shape, and can be fitted in the rectangular grooves of the corresponding guiding portions 17c and 17c.

57。The sliding members 63, 63 have convex portions 63a, 63a. The convex portions 63a and 63a are small-plate-shaped projections formed on the outer side surfaces of the sliding members 63 and 63. The convex portions 63a and 63a are provided to be in frictional contact with the inner side surfaces of the guide portions 17c and 17c of the second connector housing portion 17. By this frictional contact, the D-sub connector 50 can be held not to move in the second connector housing portion 17. A lid body 57 is attached to the outer casing main body 56 having the above configuration.

56b。Referring to FIGS. 5 to 10, the lid body 57 is provided to cover the bottom surface of the outer casing main body 56. The lid body 57 is formed in a flat plate shape. The thickness of the cover 57 is set to be smaller than the thickness of the outer casing main body 56. The lid body 57 is fixed to the bottom portion 56b of the outer casing main body 56 using a fixing member such as an adhesive.

57b。The lid body 57 has a first portion 57a and a second portion 57b which are arranged in the lateral direction X1.

The first portion 57a covers a portion of the outer casing main body 56 other than the sliding members 63, 63 when viewed from the bottom (Fig. 6B). The second portion 57b extends from the casing main body 56 toward the first direction D1 side as viewed from the bottom. Part 2 The length of the minute 57b in the longitudinal direction Y1 is set to be the same as the length of the substrate 54 in the longitudinal direction Y1. The second portion 64b is coupled to the enclosing member 58.

The sealing member 58 is provided as a member that encloses a part of the substrate 54 and the other end portion of the multi-core cable 42 and the grounding strips 55 and 55. The sealing member 58 is formed by injection molding or the like.

67。The sealing member 58 has a tubular portion (guide portion) 66 and an enclosing member main body 67.

The cylindrical portion 66 is provided to guide the direction of the core wire 42b (multi-core cable 42) electrically connected to the respective contacts 53. The tubular portion 66 is formed in a tubular shape that surrounds the covering portion 42a at the other end portion of the multi-core cable 42, and is fixed to the covering portion 42a. The cylindrical portion 66 guides the orientation of the core wire 42b such that the core wire 42b extends from the outer casing 51 in a direction intersecting the fitting direction D3 (in the first embodiment, the first direction D1 perpendicular to the fitting direction D3). When the D-sub connector 50 is viewed from the rear view (FIG. 7C), the tubular portion 66 is disposed not to be exposed from the outer casing 51. The enclosed member main body 67 is provided in a continuous manner with the tubular portion 66.

57b。The sealing member main body 67 is formed in an elongated block shape in the longitudinal direction Y1 and has an outer shape of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. The enclosed member main body 67 is adjacent to the outer casing main body 56 in the lateral direction X1 and is coupled to one side surface of the outer casing main body 56. Further, the sealing member main body 67 is disposed so as to cover the second portion 57b of the lid body 57 from one side (upper side) in the thickness direction Z1.

A recess 67a is formed in the bottom of the sealing member main body 67. The recess 67a accommodates the second portion 57b of the lid 57 and a part of the substrate 54. In the present embodiment, the bottom surface of the sealing member main body 67 and the bottom surface of the lid body 57 are arranged on the same plane. The enclosed member main body 67 is viewed from the bottom as viewed from the bottom The third side surrounds the second portion 57b of the cover 57. Further, the upper surface of the enclosed member main body 67 and the upper surface 56a of the outer casing main body 56 are arranged on the same plane.

根據上述結構,外殼51的厚度L1(D-sub連接器50的厚度)被設定為小於橫向X1上的嵌合部61的長度L2(L1<L2)。 53。According to the above configuration, the thickness L1 of the outer casing 51 (the thickness of the D-sub connector 50) is set smaller than the length L2 (L1 < L2) of the fitting portion 61 in the lateral direction X1. According to this configuration, the length (thickness L1) of the D-sub connector 50 in the vertical direction when the upper surface 56a of the outer casing main body 56 is made horizontal is remarkably reduced. The thickness L1 of the outer casing 51 is also smaller than the thickness L3 (see FIG. 2B) of the frame 2 at the portion where the opening 2d is formed (L1 < L3). According to this configuration, even the D-sub connector 50 having a long length in the lateral direction X1 can be housed in the thin casing 2. A plurality of contacts 53 are supported by such a housing 51.

FIG. 11 is an enlarged perspective view of the contact member 53. Referring to FIGS. 5, 6, 8, 9, and 11, each of the contacts 53 is provided for electrical connection with the contact 22 corresponding to the counterpart D-sub connector 20.

Each of the housing hole portions 64 of the outer casing 51 is provided with a contact member 53. That is, the contacts 53 are respectively disposed in the columns 65 (65a, 65b, 65c) which are parallel to each other. Further, a plurality of (five in the present embodiment) contact members 53 are disposed in each of the rows 65 (65a, 65b, 65c). Also, in the adjacent columns (65a and 65b, and 65b and 65c), the position of the contact member 53 in the longitudinal direction Y1 is shifted by a half pitch.

Each of the contacts 53 has the same structure as each other. The contact 53 is an integrally molded product formed by press working a conductive plate member. The contact member 53 is made of, for example, a copper alloy. Further, a plating treatment such as tin plating or gold plating is performed on the surface of the contact member 53.

71。The contact member 53 has a base portion 68, a fixing piece portion 69, a pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70, and a substrate connecting sheet 71.

The base portion 68 is provided as a base portion of the contact member 53. In the present embodiment, the base portion 68 is formed in a U shape in plan view. The base portion 68 is disposed at a bottom side portion of each of the first portion 64a and the second portion 64b of the accommodation hole portion 64. The fixing piece portion 69 extends from a portion of the base portion 68 that is disposed on the second portion 64b.

The fixing piece portion 69 is provided as a portion that is fixed to the outer casing 51. The fixing piece portion 69 extends from the base portion 68 toward the upper surface 56a side of the outer casing 51, and is housed in the second portion 64b of the housing hole portion 64. The pair of edge portions extending in the thickness direction Z1 of the fixing piece portion 69 are respectively formed with convex portions 72 and 72. The convex portions 72 and 72 are pressed to contact the inner side surface of the second portion 64b of the accommodation hole portion 64. Thereby, the fixing piece portion 69 is press-fitted and fixed to the second portion 64b. The pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 are disposed adjacent to the fixing piece portion 69.

22。The pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 are provided as a portion that directly contacts the contact 22 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20. The pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 extend from the mutually parallel portions of the base portion 68 toward the upper surface 56a side of the outer casing 51. The pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 face each other so as to sandwich the contact member 22 corresponding to the counterpart D-sub connector 20.

The pair of elastic piece portions 70 and 70 are disposed in the first portion 64a of the accommodation hole portion 64, and face the step portion 64c of the accommodation hole portion 64 in the thickness direction Z1. Thereby, the pair of elastic piece parts 70 and 70 can be in contact with the step part 64c when receiving an external force in the opposite direction to the fitting direction D3. Thereby, excessive deformation of the pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 is suppressed.

And, a pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 and a fixing piece portion 69 are The positions in the thickness direction Z1 are the same. In other words, the pair of elastic piece portions 70, 70 and the fixing piece portion 69 are arranged in a direction perpendicular to the thickness direction Z1. Thereby, the length of the contact member 53 in the thickness direction Z1 can be further shortened, so that the thickness of the D-sub connector 50 can be further reduced. The board connecting piece 71 is arranged to be aligned with the pair of elastic piece parts 70 and 70 in the thickness direction Z1.

54。The substrate connecting sheet 71 is provided as a portion bonded to the substrate 54. The board connecting piece 71 is a small piece-like portion that extends from one edge portion of the base portion 68 toward the substrate 54. Specifically, as shown in detail in FIGS. 8 and 10, the substrate 54 is placed on the cover 57. Further, a part of the substrate 54 is housed in a recess 56e formed in the bottom surface of the casing main body 56. And, the remaining portion of the substrate 54 is housed in The recessed portion 67a of the bottom surface of the member main body 67 is enclosed.

76。A plurality of first through holes 73, a plurality of second through holes 74, a plurality of signal terminal portions 75, and a ground terminal 76 are formed on the substrate 54.

The number of the first through holes 73 is the same as the number of the contacts 53. Each of the first through holes 73 is disposed at a position where the corresponding substrate connecting sheet 71 can be inserted. The corresponding substrate connecting sheets 71 are inserted into the respective first through holes 73. Each of the first through holes 73 and the corresponding substrate connecting sheets 71 are fixed to each other by a solder member. The front end of the substrate connecting sheet 71 is located in the groove portion 57c formed on the upper surface of the lid body 57. Thereby, the thickness L1 of the D-sub connector 50 can be made thinner.

The plurality of first through holes 73 are connected to the corresponding signal terminal portions 75 via conductor patterns (not shown) in the substrate 54.

The number of the second through holes 74 is the same as the number of the substrate connecting sheets 78 to be described later of the casing 52. Further, the second through hole 74 is formed at a position corresponding to the position of the substrate connecting sheet 78. In the present embodiment, the second through holes 74 are disposed at two places separated in the longitudinal direction Y1, and are disposed at two places (four in total) which are separated in the lateral direction X1.

The first through hole 73 is disposed between the second through holes 74 in the lateral direction X1. Each of the second through holes 74 is a long hole elongated in the longitudinal direction Y1. The casing 52 is fixed by the second through hole 74 having the above structure.

78。The housing 52 is provided as a mask member surrounding the periphery of the contact 53. The casing 52 is formed, for example, by press working a plate-shaped metal plate, and has a D-shape in plan view. The casing 52 has an annular casing main body 77 and a plurality of substrate connecting sheets 78 projecting from the casing main body 77.

The case main body 77 is wound around the outer peripheral portion of the housing portion 62 of the outer casing main body 56. The casing 23 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 can be inserted between the casing main body 77 and the fitting portion 61. The substrate connecting sheet 78 protrudes from the lower portion of the casing main body 77.

In the present embodiment, a plurality of substrate connecting sheets 78 are arranged at intervals. Each of the substrate connecting sheets 78 penetrates through the outer casing main body 56. A through hole (not shown) is inserted into the corresponding second through hole 74. Each of the substrate connecting sheets 78 is fixed to the corresponding second through hole 74 by a solder member (not shown), and is electrically connected to the second through hole 74.

Next, the structure related to the combination of the D-sub connector 50 having the above structure and the multi-core cable 42 will be described.

FIG. 12 is an enlarged view of the periphery of the other end portion of the substrate 54 of the D-sub connector 50 and the multi-core cable 42. Referring to Fig. 12, a plurality of core wires 42b of the multi-core cable 42 are covered by an insulating cylinder 42c except for both end portions. An insulating cylinder 42c is provided on each of the core wires 42b. Further, a mask line 42d is wound around the outer peripheral portion of each of the insulating cylinders 42c. A mask line 42d is provided on each of the insulating cylinders 42c. The mask line 42d is covered by the covering portion 42a.

The other end portion of each of the core wires 42b is attached (fixed) to the corresponding signal terminal portion 75 by a solder member or the like (not shown), and is electrically connected to the signal terminal portion 75. These other end portions are arranged in parallel with the main surface 54a of the substrate 54 in the signal terminal portion 75. Each of the mask wires 42d is short-circuited by the ground bar 55. The ground bar 55 is provided with a pair in this embodiment.

Each of the grounding bars 55, 55 is a metal plate elongated in the longitudinal direction Y1 and arranged in parallel with the main surface 54a. Each of the mask wires 42d is held by a pair of grounding bars 55, 55. One of the ground bars 55 is in contact with the ground terminal 76.

Referring to FIGS. 5, 9, and 12, the other ends of the respective grounding bars 55, 55 and the multi-core cable 42 are embedded in the sealing member 58, and held by the sealing member 58. According to the above configuration, the noise signal from the casing 52 is released into the mask line 42d through the casing 52, the second through hole 74, the ground terminal 76, and the grounding bars 55, 55.

Further, each of the contacts 53 is electrically connected to the corresponding core wire 42b via the corresponding first through hole 73 and the corresponding signal terminal portion 75. Further, each of the core wires 42b extends from the tubular portion 66 of the sealing member 58 of the outer casing 51 in a direction intersecting the fitting direction D3. Specifically, in the present embodiment, each of the core wires 42b extends from the tubular portion 66 in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction D3.

The above is the structure of the connector connection structure 10. Next, the operation of the connector connection structure 10 will be described. Specifically, (1) the operation of pulling out and inserting the D-sub connector 50 from the casing 2 and inserting the casing 2, and (2) the insertion and removal of the D-sub connector 50 and the counterpart D-sub connector 20 action.

[(1)使D-sub連接器從框體拉出和插入框體的動作][(1) The action of pulling the D-sub connector out of the frame and inserting it into the frame]

FIG. 13A is a plan view of the connector connection structure 10, showing a state in which the D-sub connector 50 is pulled out from the housing 2. FIG. 13B is a plan view of the connector connection structure 10, showing a state in which the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the casing 2.

As shown in FIG. 2B and FIG. 13B, the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the second connector housing portion 17 when not in use. In this case, the one side portion 56d of the casing main body 56 in the D-sub connector 50 is exposed from the second connector housing portion 17. However, other portions of the D-sub connector 50 are hidden within the housing 2. That is, the fitting portion 61 and the like are disposed to be hidden in the casing 2 . The sliding members 63 and 63 of the D-sub connector 50 are fitted to the corresponding guiding portions 17c and 17c, and the D-sub connector 50 is held in the second connector housing portion 17. In this state, the upper surface 56a of the casing main body 56 extends in parallel with the main surface of the circuit board 11. That is, the fitting on the upper surface 56a The portion 61 is disposed in the second connector housing portion 17 in a horizontally placed state.

Further, the sealing member main body 67 of the D-sub connector 50 is supported by the blocking portion 17d of the second connector housing portion 17. Thereby, the D-sub connector 50 is positioned in the first direction D1. Further, the tubular portion 66 of the enclosing member 58 is inserted into the through hole portion 18. The multi-core cable 42 is disposed in the first connector housing portion 16 and the second connector housing portion 17, and a part of the multi-core cable 42 is disposed in the space 29 of the first connector housing portion 16. In the first connector housing portion 16, the multi-core cable 42 is guided by the pin 28 to be arranged in a serpentine shape, thereby suppressing excessive deflection.

12。When the D-sub connector 50 is used, the operator grips the outer casing 51 of the D-sub connector 50 with a finger or the like to displace the D-sub connector 50 in the second direction D2. Thereby, as shown in FIGS. 2A and 13A, the D-sub connector 50 is pulled out to the outside of the casing 2. When the amount of pulling out of the D-sub connector 50 reaches a predetermined value, the restricting member 43 is supported by the partition wall 16b. Thus, the D-sub connector 50 cannot be pulled out continuously. At this time, the force that the operator acts on the D-sub connector 50 is received by the restricting member 43 via the multi-core cable 42, and thus the force can be suppressed from being transmitted to the receptacle connector 12.

On the other hand, when the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the second connector housing portion 17, the operator arranges the D-sub connector 50 so as to face the second connector housing portion 17. Then, the operator shifts the D-sub connector 50 to the first direction D1. Thereby, as shown in FIGS. 2B and 13B, the sliding members 63, 63 of the D-sub connector 50 and the guide portions 17c, 17c are fitted. Next, the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the second connector housing portion 17 in the housing 2 .

In addition, as shown in FIG. 14, the D-sub connector 50 is housed. In the second connector housing portion 17, the multi-core cable 42 may be twisted so that the upper surface 56a of the outer casing 51 faces downward. In this case, the pair of slide members 63, 63 of the D-sub connector 50 are fitted to the corresponding guide portions 17c, 17c. Thereby, the D-sub connector 50 can be accommodated in the 2nd connector accommodating part 17.

[(2)D-sub連接器和對方側D-sub連接器之間的插拔動作][(2) Insertion and removal between the D-sub connector and the counterpart D-sub connector]

Next, the insertion and removal operation between the D-sub connector 50 and the counterpart D-sub connector 20 will be described. In a state where the D-sub connector 50 is pulled out from the second connector housing portion 17, the operator inserts the counterpart D-sub connector 20 with respect to the D-sub connector 50 as shown in FIG. The direction D3 is shifted, thereby connecting the counterpart D-sub connector 20 to the D-sub connector 50.

Thereby, the housing 23 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is fitted into the fitting portion 61 of the D-sub connector 50. Thereby, the housing 23 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is fitted into the housing 52 and electrically connected to the housing 52.

53。Further, the respective contacts 22 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 are inserted into the housing hole portions 64 corresponding to the housing portions 62 of the D-sub connector 50. Thereby, each of the contacts 22 is sandwiched by the pair of elastic pieces 70, 70 of the corresponding contact 53. As a result, the respective contacts 22 and the corresponding contacts 53 are electrically connected. In this way, the accommodating portion 62 accommodates the contact 53 so as to allow electrical connection between the contact 22 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 fitted to the mating portion 61 and the corresponding contact 53.

The counterpart D-sub connector 20 utilizes the fitting of the housing 23 to the housing 52 and the fitting of the respective contacts 22 to the corresponding contacts 53. The bonding force formed is maintained in a state of being connected to the D-sub connector 50.

In this state, the image signal from the GPU 9 (refer to FIG. 2A) is transmitted to the corresponding core wire 42b through the circuit substrate 11, the receptacle connector 12, and the plug connector 41 shown in FIG. The image signals are then transmitted from the respective core wires 42b shown in FIG. 12 to the corresponding signal terminal portions 75, and are also output from the corresponding first through holes 73 via the corresponding contacts 53, the contacts 22, etc., as shown in FIG. An image display device not shown. Thereby, the image display device can display an image specified by the image signal described above.

When the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is detached from the D-sub connector 50, the operator shifts the counterpart D-sub connector 20 in the opposite direction to the fitting direction D3, thereby the other side D- The sub connector 20 is pulled out from the D-sub connector 50.

40。As described above, according to the wire harness 40 of the present embodiment, the direction in which each of the core wires 42b (the multi-core cable 42) extends from the sealing member 58 of the outer casing 51 is a direction intersecting (vertical) with the fitting direction D3. According to this configuration, when the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is fitted to the fitting portion 61 of the outer casing 51 of the D-sub connector 50, it is possible to prevent the respective core wires 42b from being hindered. More specifically, each of the core wires 42b extends from the sealing member main body 67 in a direction intersecting the fitting direction D3, so that it is possible to suppress covering the bottom surface of the D-sub connector 50. Therefore, when the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is pushed into the fitting portion 61, the bottom surface of the casing 51 can be easily pressed by the operator's hand or the floor. As a result, it is easy to push the counterpart D-sub connector 20 into the fitting portion 61. Thereby, it is easy to fit the counterpart D-sub connector 20 to the fitting portion 61 of the outer casing 51 of the D-sub connector 50. In particular, a plurality of contacts 53 are required in the D-sub connector 50. The contact 22 of the counterpart D-sub connector 20 is connected, so that the force required to push the counterpart D-sub connector 20 into the fitting portion 61 of the D-sub connector 50 is increased. Therefore, the effect of easily pushing the counterpart D-sub connector 20 into the fitting portion 61 is remarkable. According to the above, the wire harness 40 that connects the counterpart D-sub connector 20 and the D-sub connector 50 can be provided.

Further, according to the wire harness 40, in the D-sub connector 50, the thickness L1 of the outer casing 51 is set to be smaller than the length L2 of the fitting portion 61 in the lateral direction X1. According to this configuration, the thickness L1 of the outer casing 51 (D-sub connector 50) can be made thinner. As a result, the outer casing 51 can be easily handled. Therefore, even in a narrow place, it is relatively easy to connect the counterpart D-sub connector 20 to the outer casing 51 of the D-sub connector 50. Further, since the outer casing 51 can be made thinner, the outer casing 51 (the D-sub connector 50) can be housed in a thinner space. Thereby, the frame 2 in which the D-sub connector 50 is housed can be made thinner. As a result, the thickness of the PC 1 can be further reduced.

Further, according to the wire harness 40, the core wire 42b is covered by the insulating covering portion 42a. According to this configuration, the operation of the core wire 42b can be performed relatively easily. Further, since the core wire 42b is covered, it can be used both inside and outside the casing 2. Therefore, the versatility of the wire harness 40 can be further improved.

Further, according to the wire harness 40, the substrate 54 of the D-sub connector 50 electrically connects the plurality of contacts 53 and the corresponding core wires 42b. According to this configuration, the respective core wires 42b are not directly connected to the corresponding contact members 53. Therefore, it is possible to further improve the layout of the other end portion of each of the core wires 42b. By degree. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to relatively easily realize a configuration in which the respective core wires 42b are extended from the outer casing 51 in a direction intersecting (vertical) with the fitting direction D3.

Further, according to the wire harness 40, in each of the signal terminal portions 75, the other end portion of each of the core wires 42b is arranged in parallel with the main surface 54a of the substrate 54. According to this configuration, in the vicinity of the outer casing 51, the thickness of the space occupied by the plurality of core wires 42b and the substrate 54 as a whole can be further reduced. As a result, the outer casing 51 can be made thinner.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10, the position of the D-sub connector 50 with respect to the housing 2 can be easily changed. Therefore, the degree of freedom in connection with the D-sub connector 50 and the counterpart D-sub connector 20 can be further improved.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10, the D-sub connector 50 that requires a large space to be connected to the counterpart D-sub connector 20 by having a plurality of contacts 53 can easily change the position with respect to the frame 2. . Therefore, the degree of freedom in connection with the D-sub connector 50 and the counterpart D-sub connector 20 can be further improved.

Further, when the D-sub connector 50 is not in use, the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the second connector housing portion 17 in the housing 2. Therefore, the external contact of the D-sub connector 50 with the casing 2 is suppressed, so that the external force acting on the D-sub connector 50 can be further reduced. Further, when the D-sub connector 50 is used, the D-sub connector 50 is pulled out from the second connector housing portion 17 and connected to the counterpart D-sub connector 20. Further, the D-sub connector 50 is connected to the circuit board 11 supported by the housing 2 via a flexible core wire 42b or the like. Therefore, an external force acts on the D-sub connector 50. At this time, each of the core wires 42b is deflected by the external force, whereby the external force is released. Therefore, even when the D-sub connector 50 is pulled out from the first connector housing portion 16, the external force acting on the D-sub connector 50 can be further reduced.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10, when the D-sub connector 50 is housed in the housing 2, the fitting portion 61 of the D-sub connector 50 is disposed to be hidden in the housing 2. According to this configuration, the fitting portion 61 of the D-sub connector 50 is disposed to be hidden in the casing 2, whereby unnecessary external force can be suppressed from acting on the fitting portion 61. More specifically, for example, when the D-sub connector 50 is not used, it is possible to suppress the foreign matter from contacting the fitting portion 61. Therefore, damage of the D-sub connector 50 can be suppressed.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10, the D-sub connector 50 can be housed in the housing 2 by displacing the housing 51 of the D-sub connector 50 in the first direction D1 along the guide portions 17c and 17c. . Therefore, the operator can easily perform the work of accommodating the D-sub connector 50 in the casing 2. Further, the guide portions 17c and 17c can be held by the outer casing 51. Therefore, when the D-sub connector 50 is not used, the guide portions 17c and 17c can hold the D-sub connector 50 in the casing 2.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10, a restriction member 43 for restricting the amount of pulling out of the D-sub connector 50 from the frame 2 is provided. According to this configuration, it is possible to suppress the amount of pulling out of each of the core wires 42b from the frame 2 to be excessive. Therefore, it is possible to suppress an excessive tensile force from acting between the respective core wires 42b and the circuit substrate 11 supported by the frame 2, and thus it is possible to more reliably suppress the core wires 42b, the circuit substrate 11, the receptacle connector 12, and the plug connection. The damage of the device 41.

According to the above, the degree of freedom in connection with the D-sub connector 50 that the PC 1 has can be further improved.

Second Embodiment]

Figure 17 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line XVII-XVII in Figure 15A.

Referring to FIGS. 15A, 15B, 16 and 17, the connector connection structure 10A differs from the connector connection structure 10 mainly in the structure of the second connector housing portion 17A and the configuration of the D-sub connector 50A.

The interval between the pair of side walls 17a and 17a of the second connector housing portion 17A is set to an interval at which the D-sub connector 50A can be housed. In the present embodiment, the direction of the D-sub connector 50A with respect to the housing 2 is arranged such that the direction of the D-sub connector 50 with respect to the housing 2 is 90° in plan view.

The D-sub connector 50A has a housing 51A, a housing 52, a plurality of contacts 53, a substrate 54A, and a ground bar 55 (not shown).

The second connection is made in the D-sub connector 50A along the second direction D2 In a state in which the connector housing portion 17A is pulled out, the casing main body 56A is disposed such that the longitudinal direction Y1 is parallel to the first direction D1.

58A。The outer casing 51A has a casing main body 56A, a lid body 57A, and an enclosing member 58A.

The sliding members 63A, 63A of the outer casing main body 56A are disposed at a pair of end portions of the outer casing main body 56A in the lateral direction X1. In the present embodiment, the sliding members 63A, 63A extend along the entire range of the casing main body 56A in the longitudinal direction Y1. When the D-sub connector 50A is housed in the second connector housing portion 17A, the D-sub connection is performed in a state where the sliding members 63A and 63A are fitted to the guiding portions 17c and 17c of the second connector housing portion 17A. The device 50A is displaced in the first direction D1. Thereby, the D-sub connector 50A is housed in the second connector housing portion 17A as shown in FIG. 15B.

The lid body 57A of the outer casing main body 56A is formed in a rectangular plate shape elongated in the longitudinal direction Y1. The lid body 57A covers a portion other than the sliding members 63A, 63A in the casing main body 56A when viewed from the bottom. A part of the lid body 57A extends from the casing main body 56A in the first direction D1 and is coupled to the sealing member main body 67A.

54A。The sealing member main body 67A is coupled to the lid body 57A and the outer casing main body 56A. More specifically, the sealing member main body 67A is coupled to the upper surface of the lid body 57A. Further, the enclosed member main body 67A is adjacent to the outer casing main body 56A in the longitudinal direction Y1, and is coupled to the outer casing main body 56A. The sealing member main body 67A, the outer casing main body 56A, and the lid body 57A cooperate to accommodate the substrate 54A.

The substrate 54A is formed in a rectangular plate shape elongated in the longitudinal direction Y1. The substrate 54A is housed in a concave portion 67aA formed at the bottom of the sealing member main body 67A and a concave portion 56eA formed at the bottom of the outer casing main body 56A. The bottom surface of the substrate 54A is covered by the lid 57A.

According to the above configuration, in the second embodiment of the present invention, the same effects as those of the first embodiment of the present invention can be exhibited.

Referring to Figs. 18 to 24, in the third embodiment of the present patent, the D-sub connector 50 is replaced with a D-sub connector 50B. In the third embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the detailed description thereof will be omitted. Specifically, in the present embodiment, each of the core wires 42b extends from the tubular portion 66 of the sealing member 58B in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction D3.

Fourth embodiment]

25A is a perspective view showing a main portion of a connector connecting structure 10C according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention, and shows a state in which the D-sub connector 50C is pulled out from the housing 2. FIG. 25B is a perspective view showing a state in which the D-sub connector 50C is housed in the casing 2.

51aC、51aC。Referring to FIGS. 25A and 25B, the connector connection structure 10C has substantially the same structure as the connector connection structure 10A (refer to FIGS. 15A and 15B). The connector connection structure 10C is different from the connector connection structure 10A in that the outer casing 51C of the D-sub connector 50C is provided with flange portions 51aC, 51aC.

The flange portions 51aC and 51aC are formed outside the second direction D2. The front end portion of the case 51C. The flange portions 51aC and 51aC are disposed at both end portions of the outer casing 51C in the lateral direction X1. The flange portions 51aC and 51aC are formed in a small piece shape, and face the corresponding sliding members 63A and 63A in a direction parallel to the second direction D2. The flange portions 51aC, 51aC are provided along the entire range of the outer casing 51C in the thickness direction Z1. On the other hand, the pair of guide portions 17c and 17c of the frame 13 are located inside the casing 2.

According to the configuration described above, the state in which the D-sub connector 50C is pulled out from the casing 2 (see FIG. 25A) can be changed to the state in which the D-sub connector 50C is housed inside the casing 2 (see FIG. 25B). . In a state where the D-sub connector 50C is housed inside the casing 2, the sliding members 63A and 63A are held by the corresponding guide portions 17c and 17c. In this state, the entire front end portion including the flange portions 51aC and 51aC in the casing 51C in the second direction D2 occludes the opening portion 2d of the side portion 2c of the casing 2.

As described above, the flange portion 51aC, 51aC is provided in the outer casing 51C in accordance with the connector connection structure 10C. Thereby, when the D-sub connector 50C is housed in the casing 2, the opening 2d of the casing 2 is blocked by the casing 51C with almost no gap. Thereby, it is possible to more reliably prevent foreign matter such as dust from entering the inside of the casing 2.

Fifth Embodiment]

Fig. 26A is a perspective view showing a main portion of a connector connecting structure 10D according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention, and shows a state in which the D-sub connector 50C is pulled out from the housing 2D. FIG. 26B is a perspective view showing a state in which the D-sub connector 50C is housed in the casing 2D.

Referring to Fig. 26A and Fig. 26B, in the present embodiment, the D-sub connector 50C is housed in the casing 2D in a state of being arranged in the vertical direction. specific In other words, the thickness L1D of the side portion 2cD of the frame 2D is set to be larger than the length L2D of the outer casing 51C in the lateral direction X1. Further, the opening portion 2dD is formed in a vertically long rectangular shape in the side portion 2cD. In the casing 2D, the pair of guiding portions 17cD, 17cD of the frame 13 face in the direction in which the upper portion 2a and the lower portion 2b of the casing 2D face.

由此,外殼51C的一對滑動構件63A、63A(在圖26A、圖26B中,其中一個滑動構件63A未圖示)由一對引導部17cD、17cD保持著。 The D-sub connector 50C is housed in the housing 2D in a vertically arranged state. Specifically, the outer casing 51C of the D-sub connector 50C is configured such that the lateral direction X1 is parallel to the side portion 2cD. Further, the D-sub connector 50C is disposed such that the fitting direction D3 faces the front-rear direction of the casing 2. In this state, the D-sub connector 50C is displaced in the first direction D1, and thus is inserted into the casing 2D through the opening 2dD. Thereby, the pair of slide members 63A, 63A of the outer casing 51C (one of the slide members 63A is not shown in FIGS. 26A and 26B) is held by the pair of guide portions 17cD, 17cD. In this case, the multi-core cable 42 also extends from the outer casing 51C in a direction intersecting (vertical) with the fitting direction D3.

As described above, according to the connector connecting structure 10D of the fifth embodiment of the present invention, the D-sub connector 50C can further reduce the length in the front-rear direction of the casing 2D in the casing 2D. Thereby, the space provided in the casing 2D for the D-sub connector 50C can be reduced, and the length of the casing 2D of the casing 2D in the front-rear direction can be further shortened.

Sixth embodiment]

Fig. 27A is a perspective view showing a main portion of a connector connecting structure 10E according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention, and shows a state in which the USB connector 50E is housed in the casing 2E. Fig. 27B is a perspective view showing a main portion of the connector connection structure 10E, showing that the USB connector 50E is removed from the housing 2E is pulled out and the other side USB connector 100 is displayed. Fig. 27C is a perspective view showing a main portion of the connector connection structure 10E, showing a state in which the USB connector 50E and the counterpart USB connector 100 are connected.

Referring to FIGS. 27A, 27B, and 27C, the connector connection structure 10E has a frame 2E and a wire harness (electrical connection member) 40E.

42E。The wire harness 40E has a USB connector 50E and a multi-core cable 42E.

在本實施形態中,線束40E的USB連接器50E和對方側USB連接器100均是USB(Universal Serial Bus:通用串列匯流排)3.0連接器。The wire harness 40E is provided to electrically connect the USB connector 50E (the counterpart USB connector 100) and the GPU 9. In the present embodiment, the USB connector 50E and the counterpart USB connector 100 of the wire harness 40E are both USB (Universal Serial Bus) 3.0 connectors.

When the counterpart USB connector 100 is connected to the USB connector 50E, the operator shifts the counterpart USB connector 100 in the fitting direction D3 with respect to the USB connector 50E. The fitting direction D3 is, for example, parallel to the side portion 2cE of the frame 2E, and is parallel to the front-rear direction of the frame 2E. The counterpart USB connector 100 is inserted into the USB connector 50E by the above-described shifting operation.

When the connection between the counterpart USB connector 100 and the USB connector 50E is released, the operator shifts the counterpart USB connector 100 in the opposite direction of the fitting direction D3 with respect to the USB connector 50E. Thereby, the counterpart USB connector 100 is pulled out from the USB connector 50E.

Before explaining the wire harness 40E in detail, the configuration of the counterpart USB connector 100 will be described.

One end of the first portion 114a is fixed to the solder using solder The second through hole 112b is formed in the substrate 112. The second portion 114b extends from the other end of the first portion 114a. The second portion 114b is disposed within the housing 116. The front end side portion of the second portion 113b is formed in an L shape. A contact portion 114c is formed in the L-shaped portion. The contact portion 114c can be in contact with the second contact 105 corresponding to the counterpart USB connector 100.

As described above, the first contact 113 and the second contact 114 are mounted on the substrate 112. The substrate 112 is also attached to the substrate 116 in addition to the first contact 113 and the second contact 114. The substrate 112 is housed in the case body 115. The substrate 112 is provided to electrically connect the plurality of core wires 42b of the multi-core cable 42E and the contacts 113, 114.

The substrate 112 is, for example, a rectangular plate-shaped member formed using a printed wiring substrate. The substrate 112 is disposed at one end (bottom portion) of the outer casing main body 115 in the thickness direction Z1. The substrate 112 has a first through hole 112a and a second through hole 112b as described above. The number of the first through holes 112a is the same as the number of the first contacts 113, and the number of the second through holes 112b is the same as the number of the second contacts 114.

Each of the first through holes 112a is electrically connected to the core wire 42b of the corresponding multi-core cable 42E. Similarly, each of the second through holes 112b is electrically connected to the core wire 42b of the corresponding multi-core cable 42E. Thereby, the core wire 42b is electrically connected to the corresponding contacts 113, 114.

The other end of the multi-core cable 42E is embedded in the casing body 115. As described above, the other end portion of the multi-core cable 42E extends from the front end portion of the outer casing 111 in the first direction D1 (longitudinal direction Y1) to the outside of the outer casing 111 along the first direction D1. That is, the other end portion of the multi-core cable 42E is in the first direction D1 that intersects the fitting direction 118 of the casing 111E in the fitting direction D3 (vertical Extend to Y1). In the present embodiment, the fitting direction D3 is a direction parallel to the front-rear direction of the casing 2.

According to the above configuration, the displacement direction (the first direction D1 and the second direction D2) of the casing 111E with respect to the casing 2E and the fitting direction D3 intersect each other.

Referring to FIGS. 27A and 27B, when the USB connector 50E is housed in the housing 2E, the fitting portion 119 of the housing 111 is disposed to be hidden in the housing 2E.

40E。As described above, according to the wire harness 40E of the sixth embodiment of the present invention, the direction in which each of the core wires 42b (the multi-core cable 42E) extends from the casing main body 115 is a direction intersecting (vertical) with the fitting direction D3 ( Portrait Y1). With this configuration, when the mating portion 119 of the outer casing 111 of the USB connector 50E is fitted to the mating side USB connector 100, it is possible to prevent the respective core wires 42b from being hindered. More specifically, each of the core wires 42b extends from the casing main body 115 in a direction intersecting the fitting direction D3, so that it is possible to suppress covering the back surface of the USB connector 50E. Therefore, when the counterpart USB connector 100 is pushed into the fitting portion 119, the back surface of the casing 111E can be easily pressed by the operator's hand or the like. As a result, it is easy to push the counterpart USB connector 100 into the fitting portion 119. Thereby, it is easy to fit the counterpart USB connector 100 to the fitting portion 119 of the casing 111E of the USB connector 50E. In particular, in the USB connector 50E, it is necessary to connect the plurality of contacts 113, 114 to the contacts 104, 105 corresponding to the counterpart USB connector 100. That is, since it is necessary to connect the casings 101 and 116 to each other, the force required to push the counterpart USB connector 100 into the fitting portion 119 of the USB connector 50E is increased. Therefore, it is easy to put the other side The effect of pushing the USB connector 100 into the fitting portion 119 is remarkable. According to the above, it is possible to provide the wire harness 40E that facilitates the work of connecting the counterpart USB connector 100 and the USB connector 50E.

Further, according to the wire harness 40E, the core wire 42b is covered by the insulating covering portion 42a. According to this configuration, the operation of the core wire 42b can be performed relatively easily. Further, since the core wire 42b is covered, it can be used both inside and outside the casing 2E. Therefore, the versatility of the wire harness 40E can be further improved.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10E, the position of the USB connector 50E with respect to the housing 2E can be easily changed. Therefore, the degree of freedom in connection with the USB connector 50E and the counterpart USB connector 100 can be further improved.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10E, it is possible to easily change the position with respect to the housing 2E with respect to the USB connector 50E that requires a large space to be connected to the counterpart USB connector 100 by having a plurality of contacts 113 and 114. Therefore, the degree of freedom in connection with the USB connector 50E and the counterpart USB connector 100 can be further improved.

Further, when the USB connector 50E is not used, the USB connector 50E is housed in the casing 2E. Therefore, the external contact of the USB connector 50E with the casing 2E is suppressed, so that the external force acting on the USB connector 50E can be further reduced. Further, when the USB connector 50E is used, the USB connector 50E is pulled out from the casing 2E and connected to the counterpart USB connector 100. Further, the USB connector 50E is connected to the circuit board 11 (not shown in the present embodiment) supported by the housing 2E via a flexible core wire 42b or the like. Therefore, when an external force acts on the USB connector 50E Each of the core wires 42b is deflected by the external force, whereby the external force is released. Therefore, even when the USB connector 50E is pulled out from the casing 2E, the external force acting on the USB connector 50E can be further reduced.

Further, according to the connector connection structure 10E, when the USB connector 50E is housed in the housing 2E, the fitting portion 119 of the USB connector 50E is disposed to be hidden in the housing 2E. According to this configuration, the fitting portion 119 of the USB connector 50E is disposed to be hidden in the casing 2E, whereby unnecessary external force can be suppressed from acting on the fitting portion 119. More specifically, for example, when the USB connector 50E is not used, it is possible to suppress the foreign matter from contacting the fitting portion 119. Therefore, damage of the USB connector 50E can be suppressed.

According to the above, the degree of freedom in connection with the USB connector 50E of the PC 1E can be further improved.

Seventh embodiment]

100。FIG. 31A is a perspective view showing a main portion of a connector connecting structure 10F according to a seventh embodiment of the present invention, and shows a state in which the USB connector 50E is housed in the casing 2F. FIG. 31B is a perspective view showing a state in which the USB connector 50E is pulled out from the housing 2F, and the counterpart USB connector 100 is also shown.

Referring to Fig. 31A and Fig. 31B, in the present embodiment, the USB connector 50E is housed in the housing 2F in the longitudinal arrangement state. Specifically, the thickness L1F of the side portion 2cF of the frame 2F is set to be larger than the length L2F of the outer casing 111 in the lateral direction X1. Further, the opening 2dF of the casing 2F is formed in a rectangular shape that is vertically long in the side portion 2cF.

The USB connector 50E is received in a state of a vertical configuration. It is contained in the frame 2F. Specifically, the outer casing 111 of the USB connector 50E is disposed such that the fitting direction D3 faces downward. In this state, the USB connector 50F is displaced in the first direction D1, and thus inserted into the casing 2F through the opening 2cF. Thereby, the outer casing 111 is housed in the casing 2F. In this case, the multi-core cable 42E also extends from the outer casing 111 in a direction intersecting (vertical) with the fitting direction D3.

As described above, according to the connector connecting structure 10F of the seventh embodiment of the present invention, the USB connector 50E can further reduce the length in the front-rear direction of the casing 2F in the casing 2F. Thereby, the space for providing the USB connector 50E in the casing 2F can be reduced, so that the length of the casing 2F in the front-rear direction of the casing 2F can be further shortened.
