Abstract

A common-mode filter with defected ground structure is provided. The filter includes: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface; even numbers of defected ground structures configured on the second surface of the substrate, wherein the even numbers of defected ground structures are presented as double layer U shape slot, and each pair of the U shape slots are arranged as notch to notch with each other; and a plurality of transmission lines configured on the first surface of the substrate, and located just above the even numbers of defected ground structure, wherein the plurality of transmission lines parallel to each other, and the width of each line and the spacing therebetween individually are 0.254 mm.
