Abstract

A language pronunciation educational object includes a displaying surface and a character displaying area. The displaying surface includes a base surface, and a color of the base surface at least includes a displaying surface main color. The character displaying area is attached on the base surface, wherein a color of the character displaying area at least includes a character main color. The character main color and the displaying surface main color are different, allowing the character displaying area to display a plurality of pronunciation units. The plurality of pronunciation units respectively includes a first major phonetic symbol and a first minor phonetic symbol. An area of the first major phonetic symbol is greater than or equal to the area of the first minor phonetic symbol.

Description

Language Pronunciation Education Items

The present invention relates to a language pronunciation education article, in particular, a language pronunciation education article that guides learners whose native language is Chinese to speak with a standard American English accent.

Both American English and Chinese pronunciation have vowels and consonants, but there are still many sounds in American English that do not exist in the Chinese system, such as butterfly sounds, tongue-thrust sounds, pursed lips sounds, and fricative sounds. Therefore, people whose native language is Chinese often find it difficult to correctly pronounce authentic American English when learning American English. In addition, in order to meet the written test requirements of the entrance examination, the American English courses taught in junior high schools and high schools only focus on reading and writing, and pay less attention to how to speak American English with a fluent pronunciation, so it is even more difficult for students to improve their oral English skills.

Therefore, it is necessary to provide a new American English pronunciation teaching material that can guide students whose native language is Chinese to speak with a standard American English accent.

The main purpose of this invention is to provide a language pronunciation educational material that guides learners whose native language is Chinese to speak with a standard American English accent.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, a language pronunciation education product of the present invention includes a display surface and a character display area. The display surface includes a bottom surface, and the color of the bottom surface includes at least a main color of the display surface. The character display area is attached to the bottom surface, wherein the color of the character display area includes at least a main color of the character. The main color of the character is different from the main color of the display surface, so that the character display area displays a plurality of pronunciation units. The plurality of pronunciation units respectively include a first pronunciation unit. The first pronunciation unit includes a first main pronunciation note number and a first pronunciation note number. The area size of the first main pronunciation note number is greater than or equal to the area size of the first pronunciation note number. By using the first main pronunciation note number and the first pronunciation note number, a learner can be guided to pronounce the first pronunciation note number first and then the first main pronunciation note number in a continuous pronunciation manner.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first voicing note is located at the upper right corner, upper left corner, or both of the upper left corner and upper right corner of the first main voicing note.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the types of the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number include Chinese phonetic notation numbers.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the types of the first diacritical mark and the first cardinal diacritical mark further include Greek letters.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the types of the first voicing number and the first main voicing number further include punctuation marks.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first pronunciation note number is ㄝ, and the first main pronunciation note number is ㄚ, so as to guide learners to pronounce the "butterfly sound".

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the language pronunciation education material 1 is used to guide learners whose native language is Chinese to speak with a standard American English accent. The language pronunciation education material 1 is a sheet of paper that can be compiled in a book. The language pronunciation education material 1 includes a display surface 10 and a character display area 20, 20a, 20b.

The display surface 10 is a piece of paper, which includes a bottom surface 11, which is one side of the paper of the display surface 10. The color of the bottom surface 11 includes at least a main color of the display surface, which is the color of the paper of the display surface 10 itself, such as yellow.

The character display areas 20, 20a, 20b are, for example, printed inks, which are attached to the bottom surface 11. The colors of the character display areas 20, 20a, 20b include at least one main color of the characters, for example, the character display area 20 is white, the character display area 20a is blue (in FIG. 1, the blue is represented by diagonal lines), and the character display area 20b is red (in FIG. 1, the red is represented by dotted lines). Different colors of the character display areas 20, 20a, 20b can represent different pronunciation meanings, for example, the white character display area 20 represents the American English pronunciation that can be pronounced using only Chinese phonetic symbols; the blue and red character display areas 20a, 20b represent the American English pronunciation that cannot be pronounced using only Chinese phonetic symbols, and the pronunciations of multiple languages must be combined to pronounce the American English pronunciation. The main color of the characters is different from the main color of the display surface, so that the character display area 20, 20a, 20b can clearly display multiple pronunciation units 30, 30a, 30b on the bottom surface 11.

However, the display surface 10 is not limited to paper, and the character display areas 20, 20a, 20b are not limited to printed ink. The display surface 10 and the character display areas 20, 20a, 20b can be other interfaces that have the function of displaying images; for example, the display surface can also be an electronic book page, and the character display area is the electronic book characters displayed on the display surface.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 , the pronunciation unit 30 is used to display the pronunciation of various American English phonemes, and each pronunciation unit 30 includes a first pronunciation unit 31. The first pronunciation unit 31 includes a first main pronunciation note number 31m and a first pronunciation note number 31n. The first pronunciation note number 31n is located at the upper right corner, the upper left corner, or the upper left corner and the upper right corner of the first main pronunciation note number 31m. The first main pronunciation note number 31m has an area, which is the area of the first main pronunciation note number 31m framed by the smallest square (i.e., the dotted line frame around the ㄝ symbol in FIG. 3 ). The first pronunciation note number 31n has an area, which is the area of the first pronunciation note number 31n framed by the smallest square (i.e., the dotted line frame around the ㄚ symbol in FIG. 3 ). The area size of the first main pronunciation note 31m is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the area size of the first pronunciation note 31n. However, the size range is not limited to this. The area size of the first main pronunciation note 31m can be any value greater than or equal to 1.5 times to 25 times the area size of the first pronunciation note 31n. The book compiled with the language pronunciation education material 1 can describe the mouth shape, pronunciation and articulation method of each first main pronunciation note 31m and the first pronunciation note 31n; by displaying the first main pronunciation note 31m and the first pronunciation note 31n, a learner can be guided to pronounce the first pronunciation note 31n first in a continuous pronunciation manner, and then pronounce the first main pronunciation note 31m. It should be noted that in FIGS. 3 to 8 , in order to clearly display each pronunciation unit and its pronunciation symbol, the oblique lines and dot patterns of the symbolic character display areas 20a and 20b are not drawn; in addition, the dotted frames around the ㄝ symbol and the ㄚ symbol are only used to display the size of the area of each symbol, and the dotted frames will not actually be drawn on the language pronunciation education item 1.

As shown in the pronunciation unit 30 of FIG. 3 , the types of the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number include Chinese phonetic notation notes; for example, the first pronunciation note number 31n is ㄝ, and the first main pronunciation note number 31m is ㄚ, so as to guide the learner to pronounce the butterfly sound (i.e. [æ] in the KK phonetic symbol). When the learner sees the first pronunciation note number 31n of ㄝ and the first main pronunciation note number 31m of ㄚ, he can be guided to pronounce the first pronunciation note number 31n of ㄝ first, and then pronounce the first main pronunciation note number 31m of ㄚ in a continuous pronunciation manner; through the above-mentioned continuous pronunciation method, the learner can pronounce the correct butterfly sound.

However, the symbols for guiding learners to pronounce the correct butterfly sound are not limited to the above. For example, as shown in the first pronunciation unit 31' of the pronunciation unit 30' in Figure 4, the types of the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number further include Greek letters. The first pronunciation note number 31n' can be ε, and the first main pronunciation note number 31m' can be Λ. When learners see the ε of the first pronunciation note number 31n' and the Λ of the first main pronunciation note number 31m', they can be guided to pronounce the ε of the first pronunciation note number 31n' first in a continuous pronunciation manner, and then pronounce the Λ of the first main pronunciation note number 31m'; through the above continuous pronunciation method, learners can pronounce the correct butterfly sound.

As shown in the first pronunciation unit 31a of the pronunciation unit 30a in FIG5 , the types of the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number further include Chinese punctuation marks and foreign Greek letters. For example, the first pronunciation note number 31na is θ, so as to guide the learner's mouth shape to make a tongue-out movement, so as to make a tongue-out sound. The first main pronunciation note number 31ma is ㄙ. When the learner sees the first pronunciation note number 31na of θ and the first main pronunciation note number 31ma of ㄙ, he can be guided to pronounce with the tongue-out movement to make the sound of the first pronunciation note number 31na of θ, and then make the sound of the first main pronunciation note number 31ma of ㄙ; through the above pronunciation method, the learner can stick out the tongue and cooperate with ㄙ to make a standard tongue-out sound (that is, [θ] in the KK phonetic symbol).

As shown in the first pronunciation unit 31b of the pronunciation unit 30b of FIG6 , the first pronunciation note number 31nb is ", so as to guide the learner's mouth to make a mouth shape, make a breathy sound and make a false consonant. The first main pronunciation note number 31mb is ㄅ. The learner sees the first pronunciation note number 31nb's " and the first main pronunciation note number 31mb's ㄅ, and can be guided to first form a narrow passage in the mouth to generate friction when the air flows through, so as to make the false consonant symbolized by the first pronunciation note number 31nb's ".

As shown in the first pronunciation unit 31c of the pronunciation unit 30c of FIG7 , the first pronunciation note number 31nc is *, and is located at the upper left and upper right corners of the first main pronunciation note number 31mc, so as to guide the learner's mouth shape to make a pursed lip movement, so as to produce a pursed lip sound. The first main pronunciation note number 31mc is ㄒ. The learner sees the * of the first pronunciation note number 31nc and the ㄒ of the first main pronunciation note number 31mc, and can be guided to purse the lips first to produce the pursed lip sound symbolized by the * of the first pronunciation note number 31nc, and then produce the sound of the ㄒ of the first main pronunciation note number 31mc; through the above-mentioned continuous pronunciation method, the learner can purse the lips and cooperate with ㄒ to produce a standard pursed lip sound. However, as shown in the first pronunciation unit 31d of the pronunciation unit 30d in FIG8 , the position of the * of the first pronunciation note number 31nd can also be changed to be located at the upper left corner of the first main pronunciation note number 31md.

As shown in the first pronunciation unit 31e of the pronunciation unit 30e of FIG9 , the first pronunciation note number 31ne is ㄗ, and is located at the upper right corner of the first main pronunciation note number 31me, so as to guide the learner's tongue and palate to rub to produce a fricative sound. The first main pronunciation note number 31me is ㄉ. When the learner sees the ㄗ of the first pronunciation note number 31ne and the ㄉ of the first main pronunciation note number 31me, he can be guided to first rub the tongue and palate to produce the fricative sound symbolized by the ㄗ of the first pronunciation note number 31ne, and then produce the sound of the ㄉ of the first main pronunciation note number 31me; through the above-mentioned continuous pronunciation method, the learner can rub the tongue and palate and cooperate with ㄉ to produce a standard fricative sound. However, the pronunciation of fricatives is not limited to the above. For example, as shown in the first pronunciation unit 31f of the pronunciation unit 30f in FIG10 , the first pronunciation note number 31nf of the fricative can also be ㄘ, and the first main pronunciation note number 31mf can be ㄊ. In this way, learners can rub the tongue and the upper palate and cooperate with ㄘ to produce a standard fricative.

Through the design of the language pronunciation education article of the present invention, learners can understand the mouth shape, pronunciation and articulation required for correct pronunciation by watching the first main pronunciation note number and the first pronunciation note number, and combine the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number and pronounce them continuously to present a standard American English accent.

For example, anything that does not deviate from the basic structure of the invention should be within the scope of the rights claimed by this patent and should be subject to the scope of the patent application.

A language pronunciation education article, comprising: a display surface, the display surface including a bottom surface, the color of the bottom surface including at least a main color of the display surface; and a character display area, the character display area is attached to the bottom surface, wherein the color of the character display area includes at least a main character color, the main character color is different from the main color of the display surface, so that the character display area displays a plurality of pronunciation units, wherein the plurality of pronunciation units respectively include: a first pronunciation unit, the first pronunciation unit includes a first main pronunciation note number and a first pronunciation note number, and the area size of the first main pronunciation note number is greater than or equal to the area size of the first pronunciation note number; by means of the first main pronunciation note number and the first pronunciation note number, a learner can be guided to pronounce the first pronunciation note number first and then the first main pronunciation note number in a continuous pronunciation manner. A language pronunciation education article as described in claim 1, wherein the first pronunciation note is located at the upper right corner, upper left corner, or both the upper left corner and the upper right corner of the first main pronunciation note. A language pronunciation education article as described in claim 2, wherein the types of the first pronunciation note number and the first main pronunciation note number include Chinese phonetic notation numbers.
