Abstract

An adapter comprises a first connector engageable with a first type of electrical connector, a second connector electrically coupled to the first connector and mateable to a second type of electrical connector, and an outer casing disposed on an outside of the first connector and the second connector. The adapter further includes a metal housing disposed in the housing and mechanically coupling the first connector to the second connector.
