Abstract

Description

Dual bearing cord reel

This invention relates to fishing reels, and more particularly to dual bearing reels.

There is a dual-bearing cord reel that includes a mechanical counter that operates in conjunction with the rotation of the spool (see Patent Document 1). The mechanical counter is accommodated in the casing member installed on the main body of the cord reel. A transparent lens is bonded and fixed to the case member, and the value of the counter can be visually checked through the lens.

In the case of a mechanical counter, when water seeps into the inside of the housing member, the lens may be fogged and the counter value may become unclear. In addition, if the lens is dirty, the value of the counter will become unclear. In such a case, according to the dual-bearing reel described in Patent Document 1, since the lens is bonded and fixed to the housing member, it is difficult to remove the lens from the housing member to remove fogging and dirt on the lens. . In addition, when the lens is damaged, it is difficult to replace only the lens, and the housing member must be replaced together with the lens.

The problem to be solved by the present invention is to easily remove the fogging and dirt of the lens used to visually confirm the value of the mechanical counter. [Technical means to solve the problem]

(1) A dual-bearing cord reel according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a cord reel main body, a reel, a reel shaft, a mechanical counter, a housing member, and a lens. The cord reel main body 2 has a frame 6, a first side cover 7a, and a second side cover 7b. The frame 6 is equipped with the 1st side plate 6a, the 2nd side plate 6b, and several connection parts 6c.

The first side plate 6 a is arranged on the right side of the frame 6 . The second side plate 6b is disposed on the left side of the frame 6 at a distance from the first side plate 6a in the axial direction. The plurality of connection portions 6c extend in the axial direction and connect the first side plate 6a and the second side plate 6b.

The first side cover 7a covers the right side of the first side plate 6a of the frame 6 . The second side cover 7b covers the left side of the second side plate 6b of the frame 6 .

The spool 3 is rotatably supported by the cord reel main body 2 between the first side plate 6a and the second side plate 6b. Specifically, the reel 3 is supported by a reel shaft 10 (refer to FIG. 2 ) penetrating the center of the reel 3 in the axial direction. In this embodiment, the spool 3 is fixed to the spool shaft 10 and rotates integrally with the spool shaft 10 . The spool shaft 10 is rotatably supported by the cord reel main body 2 through a pair of bearings (not shown) disposed on the cord reel main body 2 .

The handle 4 is rotatably provided on the first side (right side) of the main body 2 of the cord reel. The rotation of the handle 4 is transmitted to the spool 3 through a rotation transmission mechanism not shown. Since the rotation transmission mechanism has the same structure as conventional ones, description thereof will be omitted.

The counter unit 20 is provided on the upper side of the cord reel main body 2 on the side of the second side plate 6b. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 , the counter unit 20 has a support member 21 , a counter drive mechanism 22 and a counter 23 .

The support member 21 is fixed to the second side cover 7b. The support member 21 extends in the axial direction and supports the counter drive mechanism 22 .

The counter driving mechanism 22 transmits the rotation of the reel 3 to the counter 23 . As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the counter driving mechanism 22 is from the input gear 11 which rotates integrally with the spool shaft 10, through the first worm shaft 12, the second worm shaft 13, the counter rotating shaft 14, and the counter The driven gear 15 that rotates integrally with the rotating shaft 14 transmits the rotation of the reel 3 to the counter 23 . The first worm shaft 12 and the counter rotation shaft 14 are arranged parallel to the spool shaft 10 . The second worm shaft 13 is arranged in a direction perpendicular to the first worm shaft 12 and the counter rotation shaft 14 . The first worm shaft 12 , the second worm shaft 13 , and the counter rotation shaft 14 are rotatably supported by the support member 21 . The detailed structure of the counter driving mechanism 22 is omitted because it has the same structure as known.

The counter 23 is of a mechanical type, and changes its value in conjunction with the rotation of the spool 3 . Specifically, the counter 23 has a plurality of disc portions 23a. The plurality of disc portions 23 a are rotatably supported by the counter rotating shaft 14 . The plurality of circular plate portions 23a are, for example, arranged with numerical values of 0 to 9 along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface. In this embodiment, a total of three disk portions, a first disk portion 23b, a second disk portion 23c, and a third disk portion 23d, are provided in order from the right side of the counter rotation shaft 14. FIG. The housing member 30 is provided on the cord reel main body 2 . In this embodiment, the case member 30 is provided integrally with the second side cover 7b of the cord reel body 2 on the upper side of the second side (left side) of the cord reel body 2 . In addition, the housing member 30 has a bottomed cylindrical shape and extends axially outward. The case member 30 has an internal space, and the counter 23 is housed in the internal space. As shown in FIG. 2, the case member 30 has an opening 30a, a receiving opening 30b, an installation groove 30c, and an insertion opening 30d.

The opening portion 30a penetrates the upper surface of the case member 30 in the vertical direction. The opening 30a has a rectangular shape and is formed to be long in the axial direction. The value of the counter 23 accommodated in the case member 30 can be visually confirmed from the opening 30a.

The opening 30 a is covered with a transparent lens 25 detachably attached to the case member 30 . The value of the counter 23 can be visually confirmed through the lens 25 from the opening 30a. The lens 25 is subjected to anti-fog treatment. The anti-fog treatment is, for example, pasting a hydrophilic film on the surface of the lens 25 facing the counter 23 .

The lens 25 has a lens main body portion 25a and a mounting portion 25b. The lens main body 25a is a portion exposed from the opening 30a, and protrudes upward in an arc shape. The attachment portion 25b is formed in a flat plate shape extending from the lens main body portion 25a toward the front, rear, left, and right directions.

As shown in FIG. 2, the storage opening 30b is provided for housing the counter 23 from the cord reel main body 2 side. Specifically, the housing opening 30b opens the first side of the case member 30 in the axial direction, and the counter 23 is accommodated in the housing member 30 through the housing opening 30b.

The mounting groove 30c is a groove recessed in the inner peripheral portion of the opening 30a, and the lens 25 is mounted in the mounting groove 30c. Specifically, the installation groove 30c extends in the axial direction on the inner peripheral portion of the opening portion 30a. In addition, the installation groove 30c extends in the front-rear direction on the second side of the opening 30a. The mounting portion 25b of the lens 25 is fitted into the mounting groove 30c.

The insertion port 30d is an entrance for inserting the lens 25 into the installation groove 30c, and is opened in the axial direction. In this embodiment, the receiving port 30b also serves as the insertion port 30d. The lens 25 is inserted into the installation groove 30c from the receiving port 30b side, whereby the lens 25 is installed in the housing member 30 .

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the cover member 40 is a member that closes the housing opening 30 b of the case member 30 and is fixed to the second side cover 7 b. The cover member 40 has a restriction part 40a and a pressing part 40b. The restricting portion 40 a is a protrusion protruding outward in the axial direction, and its tip is in contact with the first side surface 25 c of the lens 25 . The movement of the lens 25 in the axial direction is restricted by the restricting portion 40a. The pressing portion 40b protrudes axially outward from the upper portion of the restricting portion 40a. The pressing part 40b is disposed so as to overlap the mounting part 25b of the lens 25 on the first side of the lens 25, thereby pressing the mounting part 25b tightly. The loosening of the lens 25 can be suppressed by this pressing part 40b.

In the double-bearing cord reel 100 with the above structure, because the lens 25 is detachably mounted on the housing member 30, when the lens 25 is fogged or dirty, the lens 25 can be removed from the housing member 30, and The fogging and dirt of the lens 25 are easily removed. In addition, when the lens 25 is damaged, only the lens 25 can be replaced, and the cost when the lens 25 is damaged can be reduced.
