Background of the Invention As a conventional washing machine, Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2015-192774 discloses a washing machine provided with an operation display portion at the rear. The washing machine disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2015-192774 includes a casing having an inlet formed therein, a washing tub accommodated in the casing, a lid that can cover the inlet to be in a closed state, and a lid that can be rotated. The basic configuration of the washing machine 100 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 .

The washing machine 100 includes an outer frame 110 that constitutes a casing, an upper cover 300 that constitutes the casing, a cover body 500, and an operation display unit 400 that is an operation display unit. The upper cover 300 forms an inlet 310 for throwing clothes, and is fixed to the upper part of the outer frame 110 . Inside the outer frame 110, a washing tub 200 constituting a accommodating portion is enclosed. The washing tank 200 is a bottomed cylindrical shape with an upper opening, and is arranged so that its opening faces the input port 310 .

The cover body 500 is composed of a front cover body 510 , a rear cover body 520 , and a folded cover body shaft portion 530 , and is provided on the upper cover 300 so as to cover the input port 310 so as to be openable and closable. The front cover body 510 and the rear cover body 520 are rotatably connected with the shaft portion 530 of the cover body as a fulcrum. The rear cover 520 is rotatably connected to the rear of the casing, that is, the upper cover 300 . A handle portion 513 is formed on the front cover 510 , and the handle portion 513 is configured so that the user can insert and grasp the hand. The user grasps the handle portion 513 , lifts the front cover 510 upward and pushes it backward, so that the cover 500 can be opened. The operation display unit 400 , which is an operation display unit, includes a display 411 , operation buttons 412 , and a unit cover 421 on which the display 411 and the operation buttons 412 are arranged. The configuration of the lid body 500 will be described with reference to FIG. 3 . The front cover 510 is formed by arranging a front cover top surface 511 , a front cover peripheral part 512 , and a front cover back surface 514 in this order. The rear cover 520 includes a rear cover top surface 521 , a rear cover peripheral 522 , and a rear cover 524 . The back surface part 524 of the rear cover body is disposed at the lower part of the top surface part 521 of the rear cover body. The peripheral portion 522 of the rear cover body is disposed on the side surface of the top surface portion 521 of the rear cover body, and is respectively disposed at two places on the left and right.

The rear end of the front cover back surface portion 514 and the front end portion of the rear cover back surface portion 524 are each formed with a part of the curved cover shaft portion 530 . The guide plate 604 for the shaft portion of the folded cover is fixed to a part of the shaft portion 530 of the folded cover in the back portion 524 of the rear cover by screws. A part of the curved cover shaft part 530 in the back part 514 of the front cover is engaged with a part of the curved cover shaft part 530 in the back part 524 of the rear cover, and the guide plate 604 is guided by the curved cover shaft part. to cover this part, thereby connecting the front cover 510 and the rear cover 520 rotatably.

The hinge part 700 shown in FIG. 7 which is a cross-sectional view is demonstrated using FIG. 4 which is an exploded perspective view. In FIGS. 4 and 6 , the cover rotating shaft 525 includes a cover rotating shaft recess 541 . The end portion that is not enclosed in the unit cover 421 is covered by the cover portion, that is, the rear cover hinge cover portion 523 , and cannot be visually confirmed from the outside. The difference between the hinge portion 700 in the closed state and the open state of the lid body 500 will be described with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8 . 7 and 8 , although the reference numerals of the hinge portion 700 are not described, the hinge portion 700 includes the cover body rotating bearing 321, the cover body rotating shaft 525, and the cover body rotating shaft disclosed in any one of FIGS. 7 and 8 . FIG. 7 shows the configuration of the hinge portion 700 in the closed state. In FIGS. 7 and 8 , the spring accommodating portion 324 constituting the hinge portion 700 is formed in the upper cover 300 , and is arranged at the lower rear portion of the cover rotating shaft 525 . The spring 601 is arranged inside the spring accommodating portion 324 . One end of the spring 601 is fixed to the spring installation groove 323 provided in the upper cover 300 , and the other end is fixed to the spring installation hole 542 formed in the cover rotating shaft 525 . The spring 601 is in a compressed state in a closed state, and is given potential energy in a direction to become an open state. As long as the user lifts the cover 500 upward, the force imparted by the spring 601 in the opening direction will act. Therefore, the user can easily make the cover body 500 open.

Further, a stopper receiving protrusion 543 is provided on the upper part of the cover rotating shaft 525 , and a stopper receiving surface 325 is provided on the side surface of the spring accommodating part 324 . In the closed state, the stopper receiving protrusion 543 is not in contact with the stopper receiving surface 325 .

FIG. 8 shows the configuration of the hinge portion 700 in the opened state. Since the stopper receiving protrusion 543 has contacted the stopper receiving surface 325, the cover body 500 cannot be further opened. With this configuration, the lid body 500 can be held at a certain opening angle.

Based on the above, the function of the hinge portion 700 in this embodiment will be described.

The cover rotating shaft 525 in this embodiment is formed in a cylindrical shape. The cover rotating shaft 525 is in contact with the semicircular cover rotating bearing 321 , so that the cover 500 can be stably supported on the upper cover 300 .
