Abstract

A mask with length-adjustable fasten straps includes a mask body and a pair of straps. The mask body has a pair of lateral edges, and the pair of straps are attached to the mask body. Each strap has an elastic layer and at least one contacting layer attached to one side of the elastic layer. Each strap has a pair of linking parts, and a plurality of folding section between the linking parts. Each pair of linking parts is connected to one lateral edge of the mask body. Description

Adjustable ear strap length mask

The present invention relates to a mask with adjustable earband length, in particular to a mask with adjustable length earbands, which can be used by users with different face shapes.

Since users have different sizes of faces, masks of different sizes are currently produced, and they have different earband lengths. One type of mask has short ear straps, such as for children, and the other has longer straps, such as for adults.

The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a kind of mask in view of the deficiencies of the prior art, which has ear straps with adjustable length, which can be used by users with different face shapes, so as to overcome the above-mentioned defects.

As shown in FIG. 1 , in this embodiment, the ear band 20 is made of a long elastic material band. For example, referring to FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B , FIG. 2A is an enlarged view of part IIA in FIG. 2 . Each earband 20 has an elastic layer 201 and at least one contact layer 202 . In this embodiment, two contact layers 202 are located on both sides of the elastic layer 201 respectively. The elastic layer 201 can be a film-like stretchable rubber layer or other plastic layers; the contact layer 202 can be a cloth, or a plastic, or a woven material, which can comfortably contact the ear. The contact layer 202 and the elastic layer 201 can be bonded together by strip or spot heat fusion. As shown in FIG. 2A , in this embodiment, the contact layer 202 and the elastic layer 201 are connected by a plurality of parallel elongated hot-melt regions 203 at intervals. In FIG. 2A , the elastic layer 201 is not stretched, and the contact layers 202 on both sides are in the shape of an arched arc. As shown in FIG. 2B , after the earband 20 is stretched, the elastic layer 201 in the middle is stretched, and the contact layers 202 on both sides are also pulled apart and pressed against the elastic layer 201 .

As shown in FIG. 2 , each of the ear straps 20 has a pair of connecting sections 21 and a plurality of folding areas 23 between the pair of connecting sections 21 . A pair of connecting sections 21 of each ear strap 20 are fixedly connected to both ends of one of the side edges 11 of the mask body 10, for example, by hot-melting. A reserved stretch section 22 is formed between each folding area 23 and the adjacent connecting section 21 in this embodiment. The earband fabrics of the reserved stretch section 22 are not overlapped, in other words, the thickness of the reserved stretch section 22 is the thickness of the earband 20 in the unstacked state, and is smaller than the thickness of the folded area 23 .

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , the unexpanded length of each ear band 20 is equal to the length of each side edge 11 of the mask body.

The folding regions 23 in this embodiment are bent and overlapped with each other, wherein each of the folding regions 23 has more than three folding sections 231 , 232 and 233 , but the invention is not limited thereto. For example, the folding area 23 may also be five folded sections, and the length of each folded section is slightly shorter.

One of the features of the present invention is that the plurality of folding sections 231, 232, 233 A false bond is formed between them. The so-called "pseudo-bonding" means that it can be separated by external force applied by the user, and it is not completely bonded and cannot be separated. The method of "pseudo-adhesion" is specifically exemplified, wherein after the ear band 20 is cut by a heat-sealing knife, the side edges of the two adjacent folded sections (231 and 232; or 232 and 233) are formed in a Pseudo-bonding by thermal fusion. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 , FIG. 3 shows the process in which the folded area 23 on the right side is pulled apart. The two adjacent folding sections 213 and 232 are unfolded by external force. First, the middle folding section 232 is separated from the lower folding section 233 , and then the middle folding section 232 can be pulled to separate from the upper folding section 231 . As shown in FIG. 4, the folded area 23 on the right side is fully unfolded. At this time, the folded area 23 on the left has not been unfolded. After being pulled apart, as shown in FIG. 4 , each earband 20 can be partially unfolded to form a shorter wearing length, which is suitable for users with small faces. After wearing, as shown in FIG. 6 , the folded area 23 of the upper half of the earband 20 on the right is not stretched, and the length of the earband 20 is short.

As shown in FIG. 5 , the folding area 23 on the right side is fully unfolded, and the folding area 23 on the left side is also fully unfolded. The earband 20 is fully unfolded to form a complete wearing length, which can be suitable for users with larger faces.

The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned "pseudo-adhesion" method. In this embodiment, a plurality of thermal melting points can also be formed between two adjacent folding sections (231, 232, 233). In other words, the two overlapping folded sections ( 231 , 232 , 233 ) can be connected by point-like thermal welding, thereby enhancing the strength of the folded area 23 and preventing accidental opening during wearing . In addition, the density per unit area of the plurality of thermal melting points may be smaller than the density of the thermal melting point between the connecting section 21 of the earband 20 and the mask body 10 .
