發明背景

詳細說明
現在參考各該圖式描述闡明性實施例的詳細說明。雖然本說明文提供可能的施行法之詳細實例，但是應該注意的是，該等細節有意具代表性且決非用以限制該申請案的範圍。
文中的實例係提供一可作用吸收性物品內之傳輸層的三維薄膜。該實例三維薄膜可提供一讓使用者在處理吸收性物品內之污物時可得到舒適感及性能的混成方法。該混成方法可包括一斜面結構。該斜面度結構可以是自單一薄膜所形成的開式晶格結構。在一實例中，例如不規則形狀的細孔可存在於該三維薄膜結構之斜面內，而非存在於該薄膜的上及下平面內。
根據一或多項實例，將不規則形狀的細孔放置在該三維薄膜之斜面內的設計可以使得自單一薄膜之結構比得自其中細孔係在該彈性塑膠織物之上平面與下平面內開 始及終止的現有薄膜之結構更具似非機織狀。

三維薄膜
如所述，文中之實例可提供一吸收性物品，諸如該含可藉一非機織材料而按時間進程提供之使用者舒適感間的均衡且可得到傳統之獲得分布層內可發現的污物處理能力之三維薄膜28的物品10。可以自單一薄膜(其可藉成形方法(諸如真空成形法、液壓成形或其等之組合)而製成三維結構)構成該三維薄膜28。如圖2-6內所示，該三維薄膜28可包括一上平面40、一厚度44、一下平面42、一寬度、一長度及/或一斜面。該三維薄膜28的斜面可提供一含無規系列之互通薄膜纖維58(其含，例如圖3-6內所示的數個上尖峰及數個下尖峰、以及數個不規則形狀的細孔60)的開式晶格結構。可在該數個上尖峰與數個下尖峰之間測定該斜面的高度(z尺寸)。該等上尖峰可形成一傾向於與一自該等下尖峰形成的平面(例如下平面42)平行之上平面(x-y平面)(例如上平面40)。該開式晶格結構可位於該上平面與下平面之間，且該晶格之支柱係自該等無規系列之互通薄膜纖維58形成。這些纖維58典型上係未經黏合，反倒是得自該單一薄膜之巧妙處理，其可得到一整體性形成的三維結構。

該三維薄膜28可自習用以製造細孔狀成形薄膜的熱塑性聚合物材料製成。例如該三維薄膜28可包含以下組份中之一或多者：至少一選自聚烯烴(例如C2-C10烯烴，諸如聚乙烯、聚丙烯、及共聚物)之聚合物；聚酯；塑體；聚醯胺(例如尼龍(nylon))；聚苯乙烯；聚胺甲酸酯；乙烯基聚合物；丙烯酸系及/或甲基丙烯酸系聚合物；彈性體(例如苯乙烯嵌段共聚物彈性體)；得自天然可再生源之聚合物；生物可降解聚合物；及其等之混合物或摻合物。根據一實例，用以製造該三維薄膜28之熱塑性材料可包括具有在自0.910克/立方厘米(g/cc)至0.960g/cc之範圍內的密度之聚乙 烯，且更佳密度範圍為自0.920g/cc至0.950g/cc。典型的一般熔化指數範圍可以是自約0.10至約15克/10分鐘、自約1.5至約4.5克/10分鐘、及/或諸如此類。該三維薄膜28之斜面可自約400微米至約1200微米(諸如約450微米至約1000微米、諸如約500微米至約850微米)不等。此外，在一實施例中，該三維薄膜28可具有一基礎重量。該三維薄膜28之基礎重量可被定義為每一單位面積之該薄膜的重量。該薄膜28之基礎重量的範圍可自20-40gsm(每平方公尺之克數)。較佳範圍為自22-32gsm、最佳為自22-26gsm。
可添加任一種添加物至該三維薄膜28之熱塑性聚合物材料，且可提供某些所欲特徵，其包括：但不限於：粗糙度、抗靜電荷聚集之減少、耐磨耗性、可印刷性、可寫性、不透明性、親水性、疏水性、可加工性、UV安定性、色彩等。此等添加物為該技藝內所熟知，且包括，例如碳酸鈣(耐磨耗性)、二氧化鈦(色彩及不透明性)、二氧化矽(粗糙度)、表面活化劑(親水性/疏水性)、加工佐劑/塑體(可加工性)、及/或諸如此類。在一實例中，該三維薄膜28可包含約50-60%之高密度聚乙烯(0.960g/cc之密度)、20-30%之直鏈級低密度聚乙烯(0.921g/cc之密度)、4-5%之無機二氧化鈦白色色料濃縮物、及5-6%之表面活化劑濃縮物。其它三維薄膜(諸如該三維薄膜28)可包含不同比率之高密度聚乙烯及低密度聚乙烯。
頂層
用於該吸收性物品之頂層26包含第一表面34、第 二表面36、及介於其間的厚度38，且對於穿用者的皮膚可具合適順服性、柔軟感、及非刺激性。該頂層26可以具液體可滲透性、允許液體輕易地穿透其厚度，且可以由非織造物或成形薄膜組成。如文中所述，該頂層26可緊鄰該三維薄膜28(例如該第二頂層表面36可緊鄰該三維薄膜之上平面40)，且可以在該吸收性物品內之三維薄膜28上以長度及寬度方向延伸，例如自該長度內之前緣及背緣延伸至該寬度內之左緣及右緣。
在文中之實例內，該頂層26可包括及/或由一非機織材料製成。如文中使用的非機織材料可包括具方向性或無規性定向的纖維之人造織物，其不包括紙及本身係為機織、針織、黏合併有黏合紗或長絲、或藉濕氈合法(wet-milling)(不論是否經額外針刺)而氈合的產物。非機織材料及用於製造其等之方法在本項技藝內係已知。一般而言，用於製造非機織材料的方法可包含將纖維舖放在一成形表面上，其可包含紡紗舖置法、熔噴法、梳理法、氣流舖置法、濕式舖置法、保形法及其等之組合。該等纖維可以是天然或人造源，且可以是人造短纖維或長絲或可以於原位置形成。合適之頂層材料的任何其它額外性質可提供及/或用於文中之實例內。
吸收芯材
該吸收芯材30可包含第一表面46、第二表面48、一介於該第一與第二表面46、48間之厚度50、一寬度及一長度。在一實例中，該吸收芯材30之寬度及長度可小於該 頂層之寬度及長度。此外，該吸收芯材30之寬度及長度可大於該三維薄膜28之寬度及長度。該吸收芯材30可沿著該吸收性物品(例如10)的長度且在該吸收性物品的分叉區域內定向。在使用該吸收性物品時，該吸收芯材30可吸收該污物且可留下液體。該吸收芯材30可合適地吸收一污物或多種污物且可充份地留下該污物，直到該吸收性物品可經移除並棄置為止。該吸收芯材30之貯存容量、及一污物分佈遍及該吸收芯材30之效率可決定能被保留在該吸收性物品內之液體的數量。
可用於文中之實例的該吸收芯材30可包含通常對該穿用者之皮膚具可壓縮性、可保形性、非刺激性，且可吸收並留下，諸如尿及其它某些身體排出物的液體之任何吸收材料。例如該吸收芯材30可包括材料，諸如纖維素材料，其包括纖維、多孔海綿或發泡體材料；超吸收性材料，諸如超吸收性聚合物、親水膠材料、塑膠材料及其等之組合、任何其它已知吸收性材料或材料的組合。在一實例中，可用於該吸收芯材30之吸收材料可包括通常可吸收其等在流體內之重量的約10至約50倍之高吸收性凝膠型材料。如通常所述，該芯材吸收液體之速率可以與該芯材保留所吸收該等液體的能力成反比。因此，用於芯材(例如30)之該等超吸收性材料的液體保留性良好，但是其液體吸收速率相當低。在實例內，液體吸收速率的延緩會導致更多的未經吸收或游離態液體存在於該物品內，且因此降低該物品的再濕性能。
背層
該背層32可包含第一表面52、第二表面54、及一介於該第一與第二表面52、54間之厚度56。在一實例內，該厚度56可小於100微米，諸如小於50微米。該背層32可緊鄰該吸收芯材30，且可以在該吸收性物品內之吸收芯材30上以該長度及寬度方向延伸，例如自該長度內之前緣及背緣延伸至該寬度內之左緣及右緣。該頂層26及背層32可以於該前緣、背緣、左緣及右緣緊鄰(例如彼此)以允許該上層及背層藉黏著法或藉熱或超音波熔接而黏結在一起。該背層32可以是一薄(例如厚度小於50微米)塑膠膜，例如聚乙烯或聚丙烯膜、經液體不滲透性材料塗覆的非機織材料、疏水性非機織材料(其可防止液體滲透)、或含塑膠薄膜與非機織材料的層合物。該背層材料具可透氣性，因此允許蒸氣自該吸收芯材逃逸，且仍可防止液體通過其間。
可透氣式背層(例如可用於背層32之彼等)可利用一多孔薄膜或一微多孔可透氣薄膜，其等在本項技藝內係已知，且亦可包括一用於改良美觀及消費者接受性的非機織纖維狀織物。可透氣式背層材料之實例可包括多孔聚合物薄膜、得自紡黏層及熔噴層之非機織層合物、得自多孔聚合物薄膜及非機織物之層合物。
透印(strikethrough)
如文中使用，透印為一種測定經表面施加的液體進入、或“透印”一放置在吸收芯材上之三維薄膜內的特定體積所需的時間之方法。在該等試驗系列內，其係為自一 在其最低表面內具有多個孔之一英寸直徑乘以5/8英寸深的空穴完全排掉5毫升具有45達因/厘米之表面張力之擬尿液的時間(秒)之測定法。該空穴係在一4英寸乘以4英寸透印板(其係放置在一4英寸乘以4英寸之三維薄膜試樣上，且濾紙放置於其下面以控制液體)內完整地形成。
該三維薄膜之穿用者接觸表面為面朝上之經定向上平面。藉該擬尿液接觸先前所提及的空穴內之一對隔開的電極而啟動一電子定時器。當所有擬尿液已自該空穴排掉且進入濾紙內時，該定時器可自動關閉。時間係以秒數表示。將小於1秒的透印性質預定為目標。其可類似US 4,601,868內所述的透印試驗。
再濕性
該再濕性試驗包含在上平面面朝上疊置在濾紙之上面時，以具有約45達因/厘米之表面張力的擬尿液弄濕該4英寸乘以4英寸試樣三維薄膜，直到該濾紙已達飽和為止。施加0.5p.s.i之均勻壓力負載至該試樣，費時3分鐘以使該流體均勻地分佈遍及該試樣。暫時移除該壓力，將直徑約15厘米之經預稱重的第二濾紙試樣插在該三維薄膜之上表面上並再施加該預定壓力負載至該試樣，費時2分鐘。然後移除該第二濾紙並再稱重，且藉該第二濾紙而吸收的流體量被稱為該試樣的“再濕性”。結果係以藉該第二濾紙而吸收之流體的克數表示。如因此應該瞭解，較低的“再濕性”數值表示較乾燥的表面觸感。將小於1克的再濕性克數預定為目標。其可類似US 4,601,868內所述的該透印試驗。
透氣性
藉將一英寸直徑之各三維薄膜試樣放在一Frazier High Pressure Differential Air Permeability Tester(諸如得自Frazier Precision Instrument Company of Gaithersburg,Maryland)上而測定該等試樣的透氣性。係使用一Frazier第8號孔口板。直接自壓力計獲得結果，並藉標準化圖表而轉換以於30英寸Hg、70℉、65%相對濕度(進行該等試驗之較佳條件)下得到以每分鐘每平方英尺織物之立方英尺空氣表示的氣流讀數。

感官評鑑小組論據
要求一含20個人的小組檢驗含有一系列材料位 於該頂層與吸收芯材間之吸收性物品(其頂層係呈向上定向)的可見柔軟度。要求各組員僅根據目視檢查而進行評比，以1至10的等級認定該吸收性物品之中央部份的柔軟度，且10為最柔軟，而1為柔軟性最低。使用兩不同頂層(其中之一頂層係為17gsm紡黏非機織物，而另一者為22gsm氣透黏合非機織物)重複該試驗。不允許組員碰觸該等吸收性物品。
