Description

背光模組
本發明是有關於一種光源模組,特別是指一種背光模組。
背光模組已被廣泛地應用於製作各式平面顯示器,而平面顯示器的薄形化已經逐漸成為趨勢。背光模組通常包括光源、背板,及導光板等結構,在整體結構越朝向薄形化設計時,背板相當容易受到光源所產生的熱所影響,而產生彎折(bending)的現象。
目前最常見的作法是設置導熱片,用以將光源所產生的熱進行傳導以加速散熱。然而上述設計仍無法有效改善背板因熱所產生的彎折現象。
因此,本發明之目的,即在提供一種有效防止背板因熱彎折的背光模組。
於是本發明背光模組,包含一框架單元、一設置於該框架單元上的光源,及一設置於該框架單元上並用以接收該光源所發散之光線的導光板。該框架單元包括一呈橫向設置的側板、一設置於該側板之一側且呈縱向設置的背板,及一設置於該背板上的導熱板,其中,定義該背 板的高度為H,該背板具有一底緣、一距離該底緣1/4H至1/3H的預定區域,及一位於該預定區域內且呈橫向延伸的貫穿槽,該導熱板的高度是不高於該貫穿槽。其中,該光源是設置於該側板上,而該導光板是對應該光源設置。
本發明之功效在於:透過於該背板上開設有貫穿槽,並使該導熱板位於該貫穿槽的相對下方,將該光源所產生的熱限制於該背板位於該貫穿槽下方的區域,使該貫穿槽形成一絕熱設計,大幅減少該光源產生的熱傳導至該背板相對上方的位置,有效防止該背板因熱產生彎折的現象。

本發明之其他的特徵及功效,將於參照圖式的實施方式中清楚地呈現,其中:圖1是一側視圖,說明本發明背光模組之一較佳實施例;及圖2是一前視圖,輔助說明圖1。
參閱圖1與圖2,本發明背光模組2之一較佳實施例,包含一框架單元3、一設置於該框架單元3上的光源4,及一設置於該框架單元3上並用以接收該光源4所發散之光線的導光板5。該框架單元3包括一外框30、一呈橫向設置於該外框30上的側板31、一設置於該側板31之一側且呈縱向設置的背板32,及一設置於該背板32上的 導熱板33。其中,該光源4是設置於該側板31上,並包括多個間隔設置的發光二極體41。該導光板5是設置於該外框30上並對應該光源4,但要特別說明的是,該外框30的整體結構以及該外框30與該導光板5之間的連結關係並非本案之重點,不再另外繪示及贅述。
其中,定義該背板32的高度為H,該背板32具有一面向該側板31方向的底緣321、一距離該底緣321之1/4H至1/3H的預定區域322,及一位於該預定區域322內且呈橫向延伸的貫穿槽323。定義該背板32的長度為L,該貫穿槽323的長度為至少80%L。該導熱板33的高度是不高於該貫穿槽323。另外,如圖2所示,於本實施例中,該背板32的貫穿槽323是位於該預定區域322的相對中央處。
再參閱圖1、2,當所述發光二極體41運作而產生熱時,會經由該側板31傳導至該導熱板33,再傳導至該背板32。由於該導熱板33位於該貫穿槽323的相對下方,因此熱會被限制於該背板32位於該貫穿槽323下方的區域,再加上該貫穿槽323的長度為至少80%L,因此該貫穿槽323形成一絕熱設計,大幅減少熱傳導至該背板32相對上方的位置,有效防止該背板32因熱產生彎折的現象。
綜上所述,本發明背光模組2,透過於該背板32上形有該貫穿槽323,並限制該貫穿槽323設置的位置與尺寸,在兼顧該背板32之結構強度下使該貫穿槽323形成一絕熱設計,大幅減少熱傳導至該背板32相對上方的位 置,有效防止該背板32因熱產生彎折的現象,故確實能達成本發明之目的。
惟以上所述者,僅為本發明之較佳實施例而已,當不能以此限定本發明實施之範圍,即大凡依本發明申請專利範圍及專利說明書內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆仍屬本發明專利涵蓋之範圍內。

Claims (4)

  1. 一種背光模組,包含:一框架單元,包括一呈橫向設置的側板、一設置於該側板之一側且呈縱向設置的背板,及一設置於該背板上的導熱板,其中,定義該背板的高度為H,該背板具有一面向該側板方向的底緣、一距離該底緣1/4H至1/3H的預定區域,及一位於該預定區域內且呈橫向延伸的貫穿槽,該導熱板的高度是低於或等於該貫穿槽:一光源,設置於該側板上;及一導光板,對應該光源設置並用以接收該光源所發散之光線。
  2. 如請求項1所述的背光模組,其中,定義該背板的長度為L,該貫穿槽的長度為至少80%L。
  3. 如請求項1所述的背光模組,其中,該背板的貫穿槽是位於該預定區域的相對中央處。
  4. 如請求項1所述的背光模組,其中,該光源包括多個間隔設置的發光二極體。
