Description

Fan unit

The present invention relates to a fan device, and more particularly to a fan device that can directly disassemble a fan module having a fan frame and a fan unit.

A general electronic system (for example, a server) is usually provided with a fan module for dissipating heat, thereby protecting the heat generated by the internal circuit components (for example, a central processing unit chip) in actual operation by the wind. The internal circuit components of the electronic system are not damaged by overheating. However, in order to avoid the problem of stopping the electronic system when the fan module is damaged, the current fan module is designed to be oriented toward the function of hot swapping.

In the conventional technology, the hot-swappable fan module generally includes a fan frame, and the fan unit is disposed therein. Although the hot-swappable fan module can be directly hot-swapped from the fan frame, if the fan frame interferes with the motherboard, to remove or replace the motherboard, the fan frame must be removed first. In the lower fan frame, the fan unit needs to be removed one by one from the fan frame, which is very inconvenient.

In the conventional technology, for example, a frame that can accommodate a plurality of fan units as disclosed in the Republic of China Announcement No. M328174 is provided as a unit for disassembly, that is, in addition to separately disassembling a fan unit, the entire frame can be used as a unit. Disassemble the frame together with the fan unit inside the frame. In addition, the Republic of China Announcement Patent No. I319300 also teaches a fan unit that can be vertically mounted up and down, which is a mechanism for positioning and engaging between the fan unit and its frame, and the fixed fan unit is selected by the positioning and engaging mechanism. Or the fan unit can be released and the fan unit can be pulled out. However, this technique only teaches how to pull out the fan unit and how to remove the fan frame from the fan unit at the same time.

The invention provides a fan device, which can directly disassemble a fan frame together with a fan unit. The detailed description is as follows: Please refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B, which is a partial exploded and combined perspective view of the first embodiment of the fan device of the present invention. The fan device 2 includes a fan module 20 and an actuating portion 21 . The fan module 20 includes a fan frame 200 in which at least one fan unit 201 can be accommodated. Although there are two fan units 201 in this embodiment, the actual implementation is not limited to the number in the drawings, and only one of them may be implemented. The actuating portion 21 includes a plate body 210 and an actuating member 211. The board body 210 is fixed to one side of the fan module 20. In the embodiment, the board body 200 is fixed to the fan frame 200. As shown in FIG. 2, the figure is a front view of the board of the present invention. The plate body 210 has a set of guide rails 212 and 213. The distance between one of the first positions 2120 of the guide rails 212 of the set of guide rails 212 and 213 and one of the third positions 2130 of the other guide rail 213 is different from the guide rail. The distance between one of the second locations 2121 and the third location 2130. In the present embodiment, the distance D2 between the first position 2120 and the third position 2130 is smaller than the distance D1 between the second position 2121 and the third position 2130. It should be noted that the foregoing position is not limited by the illustration, and other positions satisfy the condition. In this embodiment, the guide rail 212 is a curved rail, and the guide rail 213 is a straight rail.

Returning to FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B, the actuating member 211 is a rod member disposed between the plate body 210 and the fan module 20 in this embodiment. In this embodiment, the inner side of the plate body 210 has a recess 2100 for receiving the actuating member 211. The first end 2110 and the second end 2111 of the actuating member 211 respectively have a slider 2112 and 2113 which are respectively slidably disposed in the set of guide rails 213 and 212. In addition, the first end 2110 of the actuating member is connected to a pushing body 214. The second end 2111 is connected to a pressing plate 215, so that the plate body 210 is interposed between the actuating member 211 and the pushing body 214 and the pressing plate 215. In this embodiment, the pusher 214 is fixed to the slider 2112 of the first end 2110 of the actuating member 211, and the pressing plate 215 is fixed to the slider 2113 of the second end 2111. There are many ways to fix the joints, for example, by fitting the slider into the opening of the pressure plate or the pusher body with tight tolerances, or by locking the pressure plate or the pusher body to the corresponding slider by using a locking component.

In addition, in another embodiment, in order to prevent the pusher 214 from rotating, a guide groove and a guide block may be further disposed on a surface of the push body 214 and the plate body 210 corresponding to each other. In this embodiment, the guiding groove 216 is formed on the plate body 210, and the guiding block 217 is disposed on the pushing body 214, or vice versa. The principle of actuation of the present invention is that since the distance between the two sliders 2112 and 2113 on the actuating member 211 is constant, when the actuating member 211 slides within the set of guide rails 212 and 213, the actuating member 211 can be changed. The relative position between the two sliders 2112 and 2113. The change in relative position can be used to control the position of the object coupled to the actuator 211. According to this principle, the guide rail 212 of the present invention is not limited to a curved rail, and the guide rail 213 is not limited to a straight rail. For example, in one embodiment, the rails 212 can be straight rails and the rails 213 can be curved rails.

Next, the operation of the fan device in the first embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. In FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B, the fan device 2 further includes a circuit substrate 9, which is an electronic computing device, such as a server or a workstation. It is the motherboard of the computer. An electrical connector 91 and 92 are respectively disposed on the circuit board 9 corresponding to the fan unit 201 of the fan module 20, so that the fan module 20 can be inserted on the circuit substrate 9 and the circuit substrate 9 Telecommunications connection. A position holder 92 is provided on the circuit board 9 at a position corresponding to the pusher 214. As shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, the figure is a schematic diagram of the fan device being separated from the electrical connection. When the fan module 20 is inserted into the circuit board 9, it is in the state shown in FIG. When the force 93 is applied to the pressure plate 215, since the pressure plate 215 is fixed to the actuating member 211, the slider 2113 on the second end 2111 of the actuating member 211 is subjected to a force to slide on the guide rail 212. .

Since any position on the guide rail 212 is different from a position on the guide rail 213, when the slider 2113 of the actuating member 211 slides in the guide rail 212, the slider 2113 of the actuating member 211 can be changed. The (vertical) position of the guide rail 213. In addition, the pusher 214 is coupled to the slider 2112, so when the slider 2112 moves down, the pusher 214 also moves down. However, since the lower portion of the pusher body 214 is the retainer seat 92, when the slider 2112 moves downward, the pusher body 214 that is driven by the slider 2112 is blocked by the retainer 92. Since the distance between the sliders 2112 and 2113 is fixed, the distance between the sliders 2112 and 2113 is fixed. When the slider 2113 is forced to slide in the guide rail 212, the actuating member 211 and the plate body 210 generate an upward relative sliding movement 95. Since the board body 210 is fixed to the fan module 20, the fan module 20 is disengaged from the circuit board 9 by the relative sliding movement 95 to form a state as shown in FIG. 3B. Next, the operation when the fan module 20 is to be inserted into the circuit board 9 will be described. In the process that the fan module 20 is inserted downwardly into the circuit substrate 9 by the downward force 94, as shown in FIG. 3B, the pad 92 applies the force of the pusher 214, so that the actuation is performed. The member 211 slides on the set of guide rails 212 and 213, the actuating member 211 slides upwardly on the slider 2112 of the guide rail 213, and the slider 2113 of the guide rail 212 slides to the right along the curvature, and finally forms a figure. The state of the three A.

Please refer to FIG. 4, which is a schematic view of a second embodiment of the fan apparatus of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the fan device is substantially similar to the structure shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B. The difference is that the plate body 210 of the fan device 2 has two sets of guide rails 212 and 213 and 212a and 213a. . In the part of the actuating member, the number of the rail groups is also increased to two at the same time. 5A and FIG. 5B show the positions of the actuators 211 and 211a, the pusher 214 and the pressure plate 215 when the fan module of FIG. 4 is inserted on the circuit board. The state shown in FIG. 5C and FIG. 5D is the position of the actuators 211 and 211a, the pusher 214 and the pressure plate 215 when the fan module is separated from the circuit board. The principle of operation of the second embodiment of the fan device shown in FIG. 4 is the same as that shown in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, and details are not described herein. Please refer to FIG. 6, which is a schematic view of a third embodiment of the fan module of the present invention. In this embodiment, the structure is substantially similar to that of FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B. The difference is that the actuating member 211 is disposed on the outer side of the plate body 210 such that the plate body 210 is interposed between the actuating member 211. Between the fan module 20 and the fan module 20. In the embodiment of Fig. 6, the pusher can be provided as needed, and is not an essential component. If there is no pusher, the reaction force can be generated by the first end 2110 of the actuating member 211 abutting against the retaining seat 92, thereby pushing the fan module 20 upward.

As shown in FIG. 7A and FIG. 7B, the drawings are respectively an exploded and perspective view of a fourth embodiment of the fan device of the present invention. The actuating portion 31 is coupled to the fan module 30. In the embodiment, the actuating portion 31 includes a plate body 310 and an actuating member 311. The plate body 310 is fixed to a circuit. The substrate 9 is disposed on one side of the fan module 30. The circuit board 9 is an electronic computing device such as a server, a workstation, or a motherboard of a computer. The plate body 310 has a set of guide rails, which are a first guide rail 312 and a second guide rail 313 which are slidably coupled to the pivot shaft 302. One end of the second rail 313 has an opening 3130. One of the first position 3131 and the second position 3132 of the second rail 313 is different from the third position 3120 of the first rail 312. In the present embodiment, the distance between the first position 3131 and the third position 3120 is greater than the distance between the second position 3132 and the third position 3120. In addition, in the embodiment, the first rail 312 is a straight rail, and the second rail 313 is a curved rail, but is not limited thereto. The actuating member 311 is pivotally connected to the pivot 302 by a pivot hole 3111. The actuating member 311 is disposed on one side of the plate body 310 and corresponding to the set of guide rails 312 and 313, respectively. One end of the actuating member 311 is slidably disposed on the corresponding second guide rail 313 by a slider 3110. In addition, a pressing plate 314 is fixed to the slider 3110 of the second guiding rail of the actuating member 311. It should be noted that the pressure plate 314 is an unnecessary component, which can be provided as needed. If the pressure plate 314 is not provided, the length of the slider 3110 can be increased to protrude the second guide rail 313 so that the convex portion can serve as a force receiving interface.

Next, the operation of the fan device in the fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 8A and FIG. 8B, the figure is a schematic diagram of the electrical connection of the fan device off the substrate. When the fan module 30 is inserted into the circuit board 9, it is in the state shown in FIG. 8A. When the actuating member 311 is applied to the pressing plate 314 by a first force 93 (which may also be a protrusion 3110 protruding from the second rail 313), since the pressing plate 314 is fixed to the actuating member 311, The end of the slider 3110 of the actuating member 311 is subjected to the force 93 to slide along the curvature of the second rail 313.

Since the position of any position on the second rail 313 is different from the position of one of the first rails 312, when the slider 3110 of the actuating member 311 receives the force 93 and the curvature of the second rail 313 When sliding, the pivoting end of the actuating member 311 and the pivot 302 will move upward in the first rail 312, that is, the (vertical) position of the pivot 302 in the first rail 312 can be changed. Since the actuating member 311 is pivotally connected to the pivot 302, an upward force is generated on the pivot 302 when the actuating member 311 is moved upwardly at the position of the pivot 302. As the slider 3110 slides, the fan module 30 can be pulled upward to disengage the fan module 30 from the electrical connection base of the circuit substrate 9. Since the second rail 313 has an opening 3130, the fan module 30 can be separated from the board body 310 by the opening 3130. Similarly, when the fan module 30 is to be mounted on the circuit board 9, the slider 3110 is reversely moved along the curvature of the second rail 313 as long as the force is applied to the slider 3110. As the slider 3110 moves, the actuator 311 is pivotally moved to the position of the pivot 302 to move downward, thereby generating a force on the pivot 302. Since the pivot 302 is connected to the fan module 30, the entire fan module 30 is also moved downward to be inserted into the circuit board 9.

314。Please refer to FIG. 9A and FIG. 9B, which are schematic views of a fifth embodiment of the fan device of the present invention. In this embodiment, the fan device 3 is substantially similar to the structure shown in FIG. 7A and FIG. 7B. The difference is that the plate body 310 of the fan device 3 has two sets of rail groups 312 and 313 and 312a. 313a. On the one side of the plate body 310, there are two actuating members 311 and 311a. In order to ensure the synchronous movement of the actuating members 311 and 311a, a connecting rod 315 is further connected between the two actuating members 311 and 311a. The principle of operation of the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 9A and FIG. 9B is the same as that shown in FIG. 2A and FIG. 2B, and details are not described herein. In addition, as shown in FIG. 10, the figure is a perspective view of a sixth embodiment of the fan module of the present invention. In this embodiment, substantially similar to the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 7A, the difference is that the actuating member 311 of the embodiment is disposed on the outer side of the plate body 310 such that the plate body 310 is located in the fan. Between the module 30 and the actuating member 311. For the convenience of operation, the actuator 311 can be connected to a pressure plate 314.

It should be noted that the greatest difference between the first to third embodiments and the fourth to sixth embodiments is that the plates of the first to third embodiments are combined with the fan module, that is, the fan module is separated. In the case of the circuit board, the board body is detached together with the fan module. In the fourth and sixth embodiments, the fan module is separated from the board body. Therefore, when the fan module is separated from the circuit board, the board body is fixed at the board. There is no movement on the circuit board.

However, the above is only an embodiment of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto.
