Abstract

The main object of this invention is to provide an air conditioner having air suction port with easy-clean configuration for substitution of prior art air suction port. The air conditioner of present invention has an air conditioner body 2 which has heat exchanger and fan unit therein, and a front panel 7 provided at the front portion of said air conditioner body, an air suction port 5 with a net type filter 6 being provided at the upper face of the air conditioner body 2. The total configuration of the air suction port 5 at the upper face of the air conditioner body 2 is mainly formed by the slot 20 with long rectangular shape in lengthwise direction. Thus, the air suction port 5 is constituted by a plurality of section port segments 5A1 which are formed by the slot 20 divided only a plurality of longitudinal ribs in the front-back direction.
