Abstract

An insulation resistance extended-area automatic measuring system and a method thereof, which are applicable in automatically measuring a line insulation resistance of a power load. The insulation resistance extended-area automatic measuring system comprises a line insulation resistance measuring circuit, an analog/digital converter, a microprocessor, and a communication module. The line insulation resistance measuring circuit is connected to the power load for measuring the line insulation resistance. The analog/digital converter is connected to the line insulation resistance measuring circuit for converting an analog signal of the line insulation resistance into a digital signal. The microprocessor is connected to the analog/digital converter. The communication module is connected to the microprocessor for transmitting the digital signal through a communication interface that has been processed by the microprocessor.
