Abstract
Alumina mixing powders for low-temperature sintering are disclosed. theta-alumina nanoparticles having 20 nm to 50 nm in crystallite diameter and alpha-alumina particles having 50 nm to 200 nm in diameter are mixed in an appropriate ratio by weight. The alumina mixing powders can be sintered at about 1400 DEG C to produce a denser alumina ceramic body with finer grain sizes.
