Abstract

A centrifugal fan having a resonant silencer includes a centrifugal impeller and an outer housing. The outer housing includes an axis inlet and a radial outlet. The resonant silencer extended from a cut-off can reduce the noises caused by vortex. The resonant silencer can be designed as ""1"" or ""L"" type. The cut-off can be covered by a cell structure isolating the resonant silencer from the flow motivated by the centrifugal impeller.
