Abstract

A crank mechanism. The crank mechanism includes a crank shaft, a crank arm, a crank pin, a side cover, and a connecting-rod bearing. The crank shaft includes a first oil passage. The crank arm is connected to the crank shaft. The crank pin is disposed in the crank arm and abuts the crank shaft. The crank pin includes a first engine oil buffer chamber, a second engine oil buffer chamber, and a second oil passage. The first engine oil buffer chamber is connected tot he second engine oil buffer chamber. The second oil passage is connected to the second engine oil buffer chamber. The side cover is disposed in the crank arm. A space exists between the side cover and the crank pin. The space is connected between the first oil passage and the first engine oil buffer chamber. The connecting-rod bearing is disposed in the crank arm. The crank pin fits in the connecting-rod bearing. The second oil passage is connected between the second engine oil buffer chamber and the connecting-rod bearing.
