Abstract

A fishing rod is capable of adjusting the fully length of the fishing rod and can smoothly guide the fishing line. The fishing rod comprises: a main rod (1) with an engagement female part on the inner periphery of its front end; and a main upper rod (2) telescopically connected to the front side of the main rod (1) and with a first engagement male part (2a) formed on the outer periphery of the end of the root of the rod and engageable on the engagement female part, and a second engagement male part (2b) formed on the outer periphery of the front side thereof. A slide guide seat (10) slideable along the axial direction is installed on the periphery between the first engagement male part (2a) and the second engagement male part (2b) of the main upper rod (2). The slide guide seat (10) is latched at a predetermined position by a magnet (9) buried on the periphery of the main upper rod (2).
