Description

〔圖號說明〕 P :前面操作盤 P 1 :操作盤窗部 Q :電路基板 -14- 1241754 (12) 10 :插座連接器 1 1 ·接觸子 1 1 A :連接部 1 2 :外殼 1 3 :密封殼 1 4 :後體部 1 4 A :肩狀部 1 4 B ··斜面 鲁 1 5 :前方突部 1 5 A :斜面 1 6 :溝部 1 7 :凹部 1 8 :接觸子孔 1 9 :底壁部 1 9 A、1 9 B :肋部 1 9 C :底面 · 1 9 D :薄層突部 19E :貫通空間 2 0 :彈性鎖定片 2 0 A :鎖定部 21 :彎曲部 22 :接合部 2 3 :突片部 24 :切口部 -15- 1241754 (13) 25 :底面 2 6 :密封片 26A :連接部 2 7 :切溝 2 8 :連接腳(連接部) 28A :保持腳 29 :突片 3 0 :插頭連接器 鲁 3 1 :密封殼 3 2 :卡止窗 3 3 :顯示部1241754 ⑴ 发明, description of the invention [Technical field to which the invention belongs] The present invention relates to an electrical connector in a form in which the outer surface of a housing is surrounded and held by a metal corner box, and particularly to a USB connector. [Prior Art] An example of a USB connector is disclosed in a new type No. 3 0768 55 (Patent Document 1). This connector is standardized, as shown in Figure 2 of Patent Document 1. The mounting leg is formed by cutting off the lower surface of the metal shell of the socket connector mounted on the circuit board. The upper and lower part of the locking wrist is formed by cutting up. In particular, Figure 2 of Patent Document 1 is a mini-connector in the USB connection. According to the rules, the cross-sectional shape of the fitting mouth is formed in a reverse convex shape, and the upper surface has a locking arm and a locking arm. Sealing sheet. On the other hand, the plug connector is a display section that displays information such as the form of the connector, and this display section is fitted upward with the socket connector. Further, a lock arm and a locking window of the socket connector are also formed on the upper surface provided with the display portion. In this way, the socket connector mounted on the circuit board of an electronic device is fitted with the above-mentioned plug connector from the opening of the operation panel or the housing of the electronic device. [Patent Document 1] New No. 3 076 8 5 5 (Figure 2) [Summary] (Problems to be Solved by the Present Invention) -4- 1241754 (2) In electronic devices, it is convenient to use them Orientation (directivity), the socket connector also changes the installation method due to it. For example, in a mobile phone, the device itself is required to be thin, and at the same time, when the display part of the mobile phone is directed upward, the circuit board is required to be close to the display part. Therefore, the electronic parts including the connector are mounted on the circuit board. below. As a result, since the socket connector has its locking wrist pointing downward, the plug connector also has its locking window inserted downward. This means that the display portion of the plug connector is in the opposite direction to the display portion, that is, a problem arises in the use of the display portion of the plug connector that cannot be seen when a user looks at the display portion. In addition, when the connector is used upside down, the locking wrist or sealing sheet is cut and formed from the upper surface of the metal shell, so sufficient displacement cannot be ensured. In addition, since the mounting leg (connecting portion) is formed by cutting up the lower surface of the metal case, it is difficult to provide a locking arm or a seal. When mounting the circuit board of the device, the socket connector is sucked and held by a robot and taken out of the storage case, and then it is moved to a predetermined position on the circuit board and soldered there. However, as described above, since the locking wrist is formed by cutting up on the top of the metal shell covering the socket connector, it is not possible to ensure a sufficient plane width during suction. Here, the heat-resistant tape is attached to the upper surface in advance so that it can be automatically sucked. After the circuit board of the socket connector is connected, the labor and time required to peel off the heat-resistant tape are required. An object of the present invention is to provide an electrical connector with a corner box that can be easily and automatically assembled while eliminating problems in the use and assembly of such a machine, and can be used while visually displaying the display unit. -5- 1241754 (3) (Means to solve the problem) The electrical connector with a corner box of the present invention is a metal corner box with the mating direction of the mating connector as an axis and the housing is enclosed and held. The electrical connector 'corner box has a contact portion on the lower surface side opposite to the circuit substrate, which is in contact with the corresponding circuit portion of the circuit substrate, and has an elastic locking piece that engages with the counterpart connector in the facing direction of the upper and lower surfaces. And the sealing piece that is in contact with the sealing shell of the counterpart connector. φ This electrical connector is characterized in that the upper surface of the box is a flat surface, and the elastic locking piece is a bent portion formed on the lower side of the box from the front opening to the inside of the box, and the sealing piece It is located on both sides of the elastic locking piece. According to the present invention, when the display portion of an electronic device such as a mobile phone is directed upward, the electronic components such as the connector are positioned on the lower side of the circuit board. When these electronic components are mounted on a circuit board, the circuit board itself is in an upside-down position, and is suction-conveyed by an automatic machine to a predetermined position to be soldered to the circuit board. The connector of the present invention is also connected with the flat surface sucked and transported to a predetermined position on the circuit board. When the electronic device is used, when the connector is mounted on the electronic component at the same time as the circuit board, the elastic locking piece of the connector is positioned on the side of the display because it is reversed up and down. Therefore, the user can visually confirm that the connector should be inserted The mating part of the mating connector is mated. In the present invention, the corner box is formed by bending a metal plate around the axis, and the joint portion produced by the joining of the side ends of the metal plate is located on the upper side. Therefore, -6-1241754 (4) can form a flat portion on the upper side. . At this time, it is preferable that the position of the engaging portion is a center position avoiding the upper surface of the corner box. The suction produced by the connector's automaton at this center position can be more reliable. Further, the corner box is formed by bending a metal plate around the axis, and it is more preferable that a joint portion produced by joining the side ends of the metal plate is located on the side of the corner box. In this way, the upper surface is a flat surface with no joints at all. In the present invention, the curved portion is preferably formed into a curved surface, so that the curved surface can guide and guide the opposite connector more smoothly. In the present invention, the corner box is formed with a lower opening at least a part of the lower surface, and a bottom wall portion of the housing is provided in the lower opening. The casing is made of an electrically insulating material, and even if the circuit portion is formed in the corresponding region of the circuit substrate, the circuit portion will not be short-circuited due to the approach or connection of the circuit substrate on the bottom surface of the casing, and the above can be achieved. Effective use of circuit section configuration in the corresponding domain. The cube box of the connector of the present invention has a protruding piece protruding forward from a part of the edge portion of the front opening. When the connector is aligned with the window portion of the front operation panel of the electronic device, the above The tab can be easily adjusted by inserting it into the window. Further, in the present invention, if the lower surface of the bent portion of the elastic locking piece is located below the mounting surface of the circuit board of the connector, the bent portion is accommodated in the thickness range of the circuit board. Providing the elastic locking piece to form the bent portion increases the height dimension of the connector itself, and the electronic device does not affect the entire height dimension of the bent portion when the connector is installed, and can substantially reduce the height. -7- (5) 1241754 [Embodiment] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the above, the formation of 3 has a step thickness of -8-(6) 1241754 which makes the surroundings smaller than the thickness of the above-mentioned sealing shell 13 and has an inclined surface 15A which is almost parallel to the inclined surface 14B of the rear body portion 14. A plurality of contact sub-holes 18 penetrating forward and backward are formed in the front base 15, and the contact sub-holes 11 are housed in the contact sub-holes 18. In the above-mentioned contact sub-hole 18, a crank-shaped curved contact 11 is inserted from the rear, and the front part is received as a contact part in the above-mentioned contact sub-hole 18, and the L-shaped part protruding rearwardly forms a connection part. 1 1 A is juxtaposed at the same level as the bottom surface of the housing 12. In addition, the bottom wall portion 19 extending from the rear body portion 14 to the front parallel to the front protrusion portion 15 is formed with ribs 19A and 19B extending in the extending direction at both ends and the middle of the width direction. The bottom surface 19C (the upper surface in the first figure) is provided with a circular thin-layered projection portion 19D. On the one hand, the 'sealed shell 1 3' is manufactured by pulling out a metal plate into a predetermined unfolded shape and bending it. In this embodiment, the elastic locking piece 20 is bent inward with the bent portion 21 to form a rectangular tube shape. When forming a rectangular tube shape, the joint portion 22 is formed at a slightly angular wave shape where the end edges on the joint side of the metal plate can be inserted into each other, and are in close contact with each other. Form a large angular wave. That is, 'the joint portion 22 does not exist in the upper central portion. However, in order to increase the strength of the joint, the joint 2 2 'may be partially crushed or bent to join. Furthermore, joining may be performed by overlapping fit. The sealing case 1 3 ′ is formed on the upper surface side so that the projecting piece portion 2 3 which is fitted into the groove portion 16 of the outer case 12 is projected rearward, and on both sides, the shape is -9-1241754 (7) 1 4B 3, 12 of the number of i: 26 of the y, the groove formation forming inverse sheet is extended to accommodate the above-mentioned shoulder portion 1 4 of the casing 12 and the notch portion of the bevel portion 2 4 . The housing 1 2 _ is inserted into the sealed case 13. The surface including the upper wall of the protruding piece portion 23 of the sealed case 13 and the upper surface of the shoulder portion 14A of the housing 12 are almost the same surface. In addition, if the bottom of the enclosure shell 1 3 is opened to the rear side, and when the bottom wall portion 19 of the housing is accommodated here, the bottom surface 25 of the seal shell 1 3 and the bottom surface 19C of the bottom wall 19C are also Become almost the same side. The elastic locking piece 20 of the sealing case 13 extends in parallel with the bottom surface 2 5 of the sealing case 13 through the curved portion 21 that is curved into the inside of the sealing case 13. Wrist-shaped sealing pieces 26 are also provided on both sides of the elastic locking piece 20. The portion including the range of the elastic locking piece 20 and the sealing pieces on both sides is formed so that the rib portions 1 9 A on both sides of the bottom wall portion 1 9 that can be accommodated in the case 12 are wider than the curved portion 2 1 In the above-mentioned range, a C-shaped cut groove 27 is formed and an inner region thereof forms an elastic locking piece 20 extending inward, and a tip end portion of the elastic locking piece 20 is a hook-shaped locking portion 20A. Further, from the bottom of the cut 27, the sealing piece 26 is integrally formed on both sides of the elastic locking piece 20 so as to extend parallel to the elastic locking piece 20 and extend in the reverse direction. The sealing piece 26 is a apex-shaped bulging mountain-shaped connecting portion 26A on the front opening side of the sealing case 13 and can be brought into elastic contact with the seal of the counterpart connector. However, by forming the cut groove 27 in a C-shape as shown in the figure, the elastic locking piece can be directed outward, that is, '' extends in the same direction as the seal. Also provided on both bottom ends of the bottom portion of the above-mentioned sealing case 13 are a foot-shaped connection portion 2 · 8 extending downward -10- (8) 1241754, and a holding leg 2 8A bent backward. The socket 12 of this embodiment can be obtained by assembling and holding the outer shell 12 of the above-mentioned sealed shell 13 with the contactor 1 1 described above. The outer shell 12 is positioned from the rear of the sealed shell 13 to abut against the rear end face of the sealed shell 13. The elastic locking piece 20 and the sealed piece 26 of the sealed shell 13 are located at the front of the outer shell 12. The space between the portion 15 and the bottom wall portion 19. As already mentioned, the bottom surface 1 9 C of the bottom wall portion 19 of the housing and the bottom surface 2 5 of the sealing case 1 3 bent portion 2 1 are formed on the same surface, and the extension of this surface is also provided with a contact 11 connection The part 1 1 A ° holds the housing 12 thus assembled by bending the holding leg 28A of the sealed case 13 into an L shape (refer to FIG. 1). In this regard, the plug connector 30 of the counterpart of the socket connector 10 has a fitting projection which is surrounded by a cylindrical sealing case 31 as shown in Fig. 1. The sealing case 31 is formed into a shape suitable for fitting into the sealing case 13 of the socket connector 10. As shown in FIG. 1, the gun fixing portion 20A of the elastic locking piece 20 of the socket connector 10 is for locking. A locking window 32 is formed on the upper surface. The plug connector 30 is provided with a display portion 33 on the upper surface of the main body portion. The connector of this embodiment having such a structure is used in the following manner. ① First, the socket connector 10 in the posture shown in FIG. 2 is sucked by the suction portion of the automatic machine to the upper center portion of the connector 10, and the electronic device is transferred to the circuit board before assembly (not shown) ) To a predetermined position on the surface. ② Next, connect the above-mentioned predetermined circuit mounting socket connection of the circuit board to the 11-1241754 (9) device 1 and then solder the connection. That is, the connection pins 2 8 of the socket connector 10 are soldered to the ground circuit portion after being inserted into the insertion holes formed in the circuit portion of the circuit board, and the connection portion 11A of the contactor 11 is also soldered to the circuit portion. Corresponding circuit components. However, the connection portion 28 is not limited to an oblique shape, and may be an SMT shape or a circuit portion for directly mounting the lower surface of the sealing case to the ground. ③ Generally, the socket connector 10 is a window portion whose front opening is located on the operation panel of the device. For example, in a mobile phone, the display portion of the device can be accessed from the window portion with the display portion facing upward. The mating connection method of the counterpart connector is such that the socket connector is mounted on the device in an upside-down direction when the connector is mounted on the circuit board while being positioned on the lower side of the circuit board. Figure 1 shows the posture of the connector in this state. ④ Then, when the plug connector 30 is connected, the plug connector 30 is fitted into the socket connector 10 through the window portion of the operation panel of the machine with the display portion 33 facing upward, Connect the corresponding contacts to each other. ⑤ The sealing case 31 of the plug connector 30 is a connecting portion 26A of the sealing piece 26 to which the socket connector 10 is elastically connected, and the locking portion 20A of the elastic locking piece 20 is locked to the locking window 32 of the sealing case 31. To prevent the two connectors 10, 30 from coming off each other. The present invention is not limited to the state shown in Figs. 1 to 6 and can be variously modified. For example, as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, if a protruding piece 2 9 protruding forward is provided on a part of the front opening edge of the sealing case 13, the operation is performed in front of the machine -12- (10) 1241754. The operation panel window portion p1 of the disk P can be easily positioned on the above-mentioned protruding piece. Therefore, for the prying of the plug connector 30, the strength of the joint portion 22 is enhanced. Next, as shown in FIG. 9, if the sealing shell 1 3 of the socket connector 10 and the bottom surface 25 of the bent portion 21 are positioned below the circuit board Q, the thickness direction of the bent portion 21 (pictured above) A part is smaller than the thickness dimension range of the circuit board Q, and the whole of the circuit board Q can be lowered. In this case, between the ribs 19A and 19B of the case 19, there is a space 19E between the bottom wall portion 19 and the lower part. Since the shape of the elastic locking piece 20 is allowed in this space, the case 12 itself has a low back. Further, for an example other than the illustration shown in the figure, the holding leg 28A of the holding case 12 is extended and bent toward the rear of the case 12 to hold the case. Further, the joint 22 of the sealing case 13 is further extended. It is not formed on the upper surface of this 13 but is positioned on the side as shown in Fig. 10. The upper surface of the sealing case 13 has no joints and the entire area is flat. It is assembled to an adsorption place for circuit boards. The resulting connector must be positioned so that the suction part is correctly positioned at the center. (Effects of the Invention) The present invention is as described above. Since the upper surface of the metal sealing case holding the housing is a flat surface and an elastic lock is provided on the lower surface side, it is easy to suck from the upper surface when the device is automatically mounted on the connector When using the machine installed behind the machine, the bottom wall part can be installed to avoid the shape when the machine 29 abuts and fits. The bottom wall part can be installed to form the elastically flexible setting 13 toward the rear. , It does not need a rectangular tube-shaped fixed piece, and it is large-sized. 13- (11) 1241754 is used and it is used upside down. You can also fit the display part of the plug connector (USB connector) of the other connector while looking at it. .
