Abstract

This invention provides an electrode for a negative ion generator and its manufacturing method. The electrode comprises a conductive main body and a carbon fiber rod placed inside of the main body. The carbon fiber rod is truncated with an external force to expose a plural number of carbon fibers within. When the electrode is electrically connected to a high voltage power source, the exposed carbon fibers can function as points for discharge effect to release negative ions into air. Because carbon is used as the discharge material, the conventional shortcoming like metal oxidation does not occur. Moreover, as there many carbon fibers used as points, the number of negative ion generated can be increased relatively.

Description

1230490 V. Description of the invention (1) [Technical field to which the invention belongs] The present invention relates to an electrode structure and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, to an electrode structure applied to a negative ion generator for generating negative ions and a method for manufacturing the electrode. [Previous technology] According to the principle, negative ions are mainly released by the cutting-edge discharge principle with negatively charged ions. In recent years, many applications have been applied to air quietness, such as air purifiers. The principle is that when the electrode generates a discharge phenomenon, Electrons escaping around the electrode will collide with the gas molecules between the electrodes to ionize them, and form positive and negative ions to be released into the air. With the characteristics of positive and negative phase attraction, negative ions will combine with positively charged pollution particles to form particles, thus achieving The effect of clean air. Because the generation of negative ions is mainly released by the phenomenon of tip discharge, there is an electrode on the general negative ion generator. By applying a high voltage power to this electrode, a discharge phenomenon can be generated, and the surrounding air is ionized with a negative charge. For negative ion generators, the production of electrodes and negative ions appears to be closely related. At present, the commonly used electrodes can achieve the effect of tip discharge. Therefore, the electrodes are designed in a needle-like shape. This is a design with better performance, but because the needle tip of the electrode needs to withstand the high voltage and high temperature brought by the high voltage power supply, it is very easy to oxidize in use, which greatly reduces the efficiency of negative ion production. In addition, because the needle-shaped electrode design can only produce the discharge effect at its tip, the number of negative ions generated is limited, and the number of negative ions cannot be increased significantly with a limited number of electrodes.

1230490 V. Description of the invention (3) When used as a source, this plurality of carbon fiber filaments can serve as the tip of the discharge effect, generating negative ions in the air. In the following, detailed descriptions will be made with specific embodiments and accompanying drawings to make it easier to understand the purpose, technical content, features and functions of the present invention. [Embodiment]

The invention provides an electrode structure of an anion generator and a manufacturing method thereof, which uses carbon fiber as a discharge tip material, so that the conventional pointed needle-shaped metal electrode needs to withstand the action of high pressure and high temperature, resulting in easy oxidation and anion generation. The absence of decline.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the electrode structure of the negative ion generator proposed in the present invention. As shown in the figure, one of the electrodes 10 that can generate negative ions includes a conductive body 12 and a housing is provided at the center of the body 12. A space 14; and a carbon fiber rod 16 that is sleeved in the accommodation space 14 to be connected to the conductive body 12 and that one end of the carbon fiber rod 16 is exposed outside the accommodation space 14 and exposed in the container. At the outer end of the space 14, it is a cross section 20 with a plurality of carbon fiber filaments 18, and the formation of this cross section 20 is to make the carbon fiber by external forces such as tensile stress, shear stress, torsion, bending moment ... Stick 16 formed by truncation. When the electrode 10 is electrically connected to a high-voltage power source, the carbon fiber filaments 18 on the cross section 20 can be used as the tip for generating the discharge effect to generate negative ions. In order to explain the element structure and function of the present invention in more detail, it will be described in detail in conjunction with one of the following embodiments and drawings. Page 7 1230490 V. Description of the invention (4) This is to easily cut the carbon fiber rod 16 and make the length meet the requirements. Set a groove 2 2 at an appropriate distance on the carbon fiber rod 16 to reduce the carbon fiber at the position to be cut. The stress of the rod 16 is continued. As shown in FIG. 2B, two clamps 24 and 26 are respectively clamped on both sides of the groove 2 2 provided above, and the external force applied to the clamps 2 4 and 26 is applied. The carbon fiber rod 16 is cut along the set groove 2 2 so that the carbon fiber filaments 18 contained in the carbon fiber rod 16 are exposed to form a cross section 20, as shown in FIG. 2C, and then as shown in FIG. 2D In the figure and FIG. 2E, the carbon fiber rods 16 that have been truncated to reveal the plurality of carbon fiber filaments 18 are set in the accommodation space 14 of a conductive body 12 and one end having the plurality of carbon fiber filaments 18 is exposed to the conductive body. In addition, as a tip for generating a discharge effect, release negative ions into the air, so that the electrode 10 for generating negative ions as shown in FIG. 2F can be completed. However, in the above description, as shown in FIG. 2D and FIG. 2E, when the carbon fiber rod 16 is set, the carbon fiber rod 16 can be attached with a conductive adhesive 2 8 and then The rows are sleeved in the accommodating space 14 of the conductive body 12, so that the carbon fiber rod 16 can be brought into closer contact with the conductive body. Furthermore, a blocking portion 30 can be protruded on the inner wall side of the conductive body 12 so that the blocking portion can be embedded in the carbon fiber rod 16 and accommodated in one end of the conductive body 12 to fix the carbon fiber. The rod 16 is sleeved at a position in the conductive body 12. The formation of the blocking portion 30 may be formed by inwardly lining the tube wall of the conductive body 12 to form the inside of the tube wall, or may be directly protruding from the inside of the tube wall of the conductive body 12, which may be a blocking ring or A relatively established barrier. The present invention is to cut a carbon fiber rod 16 by external force to expose a plurality of carbon fiber filaments 18 contained therein as a tip of the discharge effect.
