一的IP位址。IP位址係以四個有網域的階層關係的數字 代表網際網路中的一台機器，因此在連結網站（上網）時可 據以在網際網路中找到架設在那台機器上的網站。然而，以數字為主的IP位址（例如168 95.1.83)雖然在了解網域 的階層關係上有其長處，不過在實際的應用上卻有無法從 其中之數字了解其所代表位址上的網站的内容為何之缺 點，因此一般人所用的幾乎都是以文字為主之網址（例如
