529013 五、發明說明(5) 電路單元1 4中所校正之鋸齒型信號至閘極驅動I C。 上述鋸齒型校正電路單元14於其中真有一電晶體(未 示出)或一 OP Amp(未示出),而複數個電阻與電容器係與 0 P A m p連接,因此將0 P A m p之輸出波形轉換為令人滿意的 鋸齒型;即是,上述校正電路單元1 4,於電流施君於校正 電源供應單元1 6以驅動面板中之驅動閘電極通過閘極驅動 器I C之前,將電壓波形轉換為一令人滿意的鋸齒型。 第4圖係本發明中,閘極驅動器I C之輸入/輸出電壓通 過第3圖中校正電路之波形示意圖;如第4圖中所示,閘極 驅動器I C之輸入波形係通過第3圖中的校正電路單元1 4轉 換為鋸齒型;因此而可能將每一個閘極驅動I C的輸出電壓 差微小化。 根據習見之方法,電壓差係產生於每一個閘極驅動器 1 C,因此而產生了類比電源供應之電壓降;然而,根據本 發明,電源係以鋸齒型供應以校正電壓歪曲,藉此消除了 每一個閘極驅動器I C之間之差異(d i f f e r e n c e );因此,可 以產生相同的電壓輸出。此外,根據本發明,鋸齒型的輸 入電壓波形,具有與施加於閘電極之閘極脈衝寬度(ga t e pulsewidth)相同的週期。 根據本發明之較佳實施例,校正電路單元之OP Amp或 電晶體(transistor)僅形成於閘極開啟線上、或閘極開啟 線與閘極關閉線上。 此外,根據本發明另一個實施例,閘極驅動電源供應 單元,包括一個具有OP Amp或電晶體(transistor)的直流
529013 五、發明說明(6) 電/直流電(DC/DC)轉換器;上述OP Amp或電晶體 (t r a n s i s t 〇 r )亦形成於閘極開啟線上、或閘極開啟線與閘 極關閉線上。 如上所述,根據本發明,雖然一信號線係形成於面板 中以驅動閘極驅動器I C,施加於閘極驅動器電路之電流係 規律地被供應以同時減低了電壓降,且同時,上述電流係 以鋸齒型被提供,以校正電壓歪曲,藉此最小化了每一個 閘極驅動器I C之間的電壓差;因此,其可以穩定地提供閘 電極驅動電流且相當地改進了液晶顯示器螢幕的品質,並 確保產品之可靠性。

- 529013 六、申請專利範圍 1 . 一種在面板中具有信號線以閘極驅動器I C之液晶顯 示器,包括: < 一閘極驅動電源供應單元,用以供應類比信號; 一控制電路單元,用以將控制信號施於從閘極驅動電 源供應單元輸出之類比信號上; 一校正電路單元,用以將由控制電路單元而來之控制 信號,施加並校正從閘極驅動電源供應單元輸出之類比信 號成為鋸齒型;以及, 一已校正的電源供應單元,用以供應經過校正電路單 元校正過之鑛#型信號至閘極驅動I C者。 2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之液晶顯示器;其中鋸 齒型信號係具有與閘極脈衝寬度相同之週期者。 3. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之液晶顯示器;其中校 正電路單元包括了 OP Amp或電晶體者。 4. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之液晶顯示器;其中閘 極驅動電源供應單元包括了具有OP Amp或電晶體之直流電 /直流電(DC/DC)轉換器者。 5.如申請專利範圍第3項或第4項中所述之液晶顯示 器;其中OP Amp或電晶體係形成於閘極開啟線上者。 6.如申請專利範圍第3項或第4項中所述之液晶顯示 器;其中OP Amp或電晶體係皆可形成於閘極開啟線上與閘 極關閉線路者。
