Description of the invention (I) Printed by the Consumer Cooperative of the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economics The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display (Liquid Crystai Display, LCD) device, and in particular to a liquid crystal capable of improving the shadow phenomenon Display device. Due to the influence of external effects such as electric fields and heat, the alignment of liquid crystal molecules will change accordingly, which will cause changes in the optical properties of the liquid crystal such as birefnngence, optical rotation, dichroism, light scattering, and optical rotation. The visual effects caused by such changing characteristics can be applied to the production of liquid crystal displays. The main body of a liquid crystal display is a liquid crystal cell, which is composed of two glass substrates with transparent electrodes and a liquid crystal sealed between the substrates. 1A to 1C are schematic top views of a conventional liquid crystal display device. A conventional liquid crystal display device includes a first array substrate 100, a second array substrate 110, and a liquid crystal layer (not shown) disposed between the first array substrate 100 and the second array substrate 110. Here, a super twisted nematic liquid crystal display (STN-LCD) will be described as an example. Referring to FIG. 1A, a first array substrate 100 of a conventional liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of strip-shaped electrodes 102, wherein the plurality of strip-shaped electrodes 102 are arranged along a first direction, and a plurality of strips One end of the shape electrode 102 extends along the first direction to the edge of the first array substrate 100. Please refer to the figure below. The second array substrate 110 of the conventional liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of strip-shaped electrodes 112, wherein the plurality of strip-shaped electrodes U2 are arranged along a second direction, and the second direction is connected to the second direction. The first direction is vertical. Please refer to Figure 1C. The first array substrate 100 and the second array substrate 110 are bonded together by a frame adhesive, and the liquid crystal layer is injected therebetween. The plurality of strip electrodes 102 on 100 and the plurality of strip electrodes 112 on the second array substrate 110 constitute a staggered area, and this staggered area is a display area 104, and the area surrounding the display area 104 It is a non-display area 106. It should be noted that, in the non-display area 106a around the display area 104, no electrode is disposed thereon. In the non-display area 106b, only one layer of the electrode (the electrode 102 or the electrode 112) is disposed thereon. Therefore, after light passes through the display area 104 and the non-display areas 106 and 106 a, an afterglow phenomenon occurs, which means that the brightness of the light when the light passes through the non-display areas 106 a and 106 b and the display area 104 will be uneven. situation. Printed by the Consumer Cooperative of the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economics The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device including a first array substrate, a second array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first array substrate and the second array substrate to form a display cell (Cdl). The display cell has a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area. The display area of the first array substrate includes a plurality of first electrodes. The first electrodes extend in a first direction to an edge of the first array substrate, and a non-display area of the first array substrate has a first Dummy Electrode. Display area of the second array substrate 4 This paper size is applicable to the Chinese National Standard (CNS) A4 specification (210 X 297 mm) M3592 A7 B7 7766twf.d〇c / 〇〇6 5. The description of the invention (\) includes configuration There are several second electrodes. The first electrode extends in a second direction to an edge of the second array substrate, and a second pseudo electrode is arranged on the non-display area of the first array substrate. Direction is vertical. The first pseudo-electrode and the third pseudo-electrode arranged in the non-display area of the present invention will make the average light transmittance of the non-display area consistent with the average light transmittance of the display area. The present invention arranges a first pseudo electrode and a second pseudo electrode on the non-display area of the first array substrate and the second array substrate to improve the afterimage phenomenon of the liquid crystal display device. The patterns of the first pseudo-electrode and the second pseudo-electrode are matched with each other, for example, so that the average light transmittance on the non-display area is consistent with the display area. Among them, the first pseudo-electrode is, for example, a plate structure and the second pseudo-electrode is, for example, a plurality of block structures. The required average light transmittance is obtained by the combination of the plate structure and the block structure. Under the principle that the required average light transmittance can be obtained, the first pseudo-electrode and the second pseudo-electrode can also be matched with each other by other patterned structures. In the present invention, pseudo electrodes are added to the non-display area so that the display area and the non-display area of the liquid crystal display panel have uniform brightness and darkness, and the edge of the display area of the liquid crystal display panel has better display effect during display. Especially for smaller display screens such as mobile phones and personal digital assistants. The second pseudo-electrode 214 is, for example, a plate-like pattern, a plurality of block-like patterns, or a combination of a plate-like pattern and a plurality of block-like patterns. A pattern, a plurality of block patterns, or a combination of a plate pattern and a plurality of block patterns. In this embodiment, it is mainly described that the second pseudo electrodes 214 and 216 are a plurality of block patterns. The material of the second electrode 212 and the second pseudo-electrodes 204 and 206 is, for example, indium tin oxide or other materials having the same effect (light transmittance). In addition, a second polarizer (not shown) is disposed on the other surface of the second array substrate 210 to achieve the display effect. Printed by the Consumer Cooperative of the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, please refer to FIG. 2C. After the first array substrate 200 and the second array substrate 210 are bonded by a frame adhesive, the first array substrate 200 and the second array substrate The space formed by 210 and the sealant is injected into the liquid crystal layer. An area where the first electrodes 202 on the first array substrate 200 and the second electrodes 212 on the second array substrate 210 are perpendicularly intersected with each other is the display area 104. Among them, part of the display area 104 is an area where the first electrode 202 and the second electrode 212 are intersected, and part of the area is an area covered by only one of the first electrode 202 or the second electrode 212. A part of the area is an area not covered by any of the first electrode 202 and the second electrode 212. When light passes through the three areas, the transmittances are different.
