Abstract

PURPOSE: A planetary gear system is provided to improve the torsion rigidity of a sun gear by reducing the distance between the sun gear and a third bearing, to decrease the total length of a frame assembly by reducing the lubrication passage of the bearing, and to improve the durability by rotating inner and outer races with a planet carrier and a power train member at the same direction. CONSTITUTION: A planetary gear system comprises a frame assembly(100), a planet carrier(30), plural planetary gears(40), first and second bearings(31,32), a power transmission member(50) and a third bearing(60). The power transmission member is rotated to the planet carrier in the chamber of an installation frame(10), and supported by the bearing member installed on an annular wall of the planet carrier. A sun gear(51) of the power transmission member is engaged with plural planetary gears alternately engaged with an annular gear tooth part(11) of the installation frame to decelerate the speed of an output shaft of a motor. Alignment of the sun gear and the planet carrier is kept accurately.
