Abstract

This invention relates a manually operated electric sawing machine, especially a precision saw, comprising a machine housing (10), a replaceable saw blade (12), and an electric driver (11) for driving the saw blade in an oscillating sawing operations, back and forth. To considerably simplify the construction of the saw blade driver (11), the saw blade is accommodated in a guide (44) which is variable fixed to the machine housing (10). The saw blade is able to move lengthwise, and is directly driven by a driver (11) in an oscillating movement in said guide (44).
