Abstract

A panel form loudspeaker apparatus having two panel loudspeakers, each of which has a panel (1) and at least one exciter unit (2) fitted on one side of the panel, is provides with a connection device (3) for connecting the panel form loudspeaker apparatus to an electrical signal source (4) for driving the exciters (2). The two panel form loudspeakers are arranged such that they are essentially situated opposite one another and parallel, in such a way that their panel sides provided with the exciter units (2) face one another. The connection device (3) is configures in such a way that when the panel form loudspeaker apparatus is connected to electrical signal source (4), mutually corresponding inputs of the two exciters (2) are in each case connected to a different output pole of the electrical signal source (4). The normal spacing between the panel sides facing one another does not exceed 15 cm.
