Abstract
The small piezoelectric elements are used to form high quality sound reproduction system. The membrane is made of small sections each with low inertia. A perforated support panel (1) has a number of ceramic piezoelectric elements (3) glued to it by hard rubber (4). The elements are also glued to individual membrane sections (2) of large panel. The membrane is constructed of inert material and is light weight. The piezoelectric elements are connected (7) in parallel to high quality transformer matching high impedance of reproduction system to output of current amplifier.
