Abstract

An injection molding mold is provided in which the number of molds to be driven by a slide mechanism is reduced, and the accuracy of the positional relation between the molds is enhanced. An injection mold includes a first mold which has a first mold surface for contact with an injection molding resin so as to form a portion of a molded product, and a first positioning surface continuous with this first mold surface, and a second mold which has a second mold surface for forming another portion of the molded product, and a second positioning surface for contacting the first mold surface of the first mold with the second mold surface at an acute angle, and is divided in a plane including an axis of the molded product. The first mold surface and the second mold surface contact each other so as to form a corner portion of a predetermined shape. That portion of the second mold, having the second positioning surface, is received in a recessed portion of the first mold, having the first positioning surface, in such a manner that the first and second positioning surfaces are held in contact with each other, and in this manner, the second mold is held in the first mold.
