Abstract
The object of the present invention is to provide a medium conveying device causing no shift in a magnetic data reading position or in a printing position in a medium conveying device conveying an inserted medium along a guide face. To achieve the object, a guide rail 11 guiding an upper unit is arranged in a lower unit 2 constituting a bankbook conveying device 1, and the inside of the guide rail 11 serves as a guide face 13 with which a bankbook is brought into contact so as to be guided. A prism 15 is arranged while clamping the guide rail 11. An optical sensor is arranged in the position facing the prism 15 in the upper unit.
