Abstract

A device for water electrolysis according to the present invention comprises plural substrate units separated from each other, electrode plates, and two side covers clamped on the outermost sides. Each substrate unit comprises a frame plate clamped with an electrode plate, and a dividing film inserted on the frame plate. Each frame plate is installed with a flow-guiding member for assisting the flow of electrolysed water and depositing heavier oxides, and forming an electrolysis chamber with the two electrode plates on both adjacent sides. The electrolysis chamber is divided by the dividing film into a cathode electrolysis chamber and an anode electrolysis chamber to separately produce basic and acidic ionized water by electrolysis. The frame plate is installed with first and second outlet pipes to separately guide the basic and acidic ionized water to the side covers. The number of the substrate units, the dividing film or the electrode plates can be adjusted arbitrarily so that the production of ionized water is flexible.
