Abstract
In the manufacturing process of cathode ray tubes, as the light of getter flashes gas film cannot be formed at the neck because of low temperature at the neck, and the remaining gas at the neck or in the surrounding area cause vacuum decreasing around the anode of electron gun during emission aging. The solution for this is to maintain the temperature at the neck around 70 to 100 DEG C, and the temperature on the surface panel and the funnel at around room temperature to 60 DEG C enabling getter to flash.
