Abstract

This invention provides an energy storing mechanism with simple structure and fewer components that stops the counter revolution of the main shaft of switchgear by contact closure through the rebound of the closing spring. The energy storing mechanism features driving gear 20 secured to the energy storing axle used to drive the revolution of the storing motor 3 to main shaft 1, opposing part embedded in the driving gear 21 of energy storing axle 2, engaging gears 20c, 21c that engage when the revolution of the energy storing motor 3 drives the revolution of driving gear 21, and unidirectional clutch 7 arranged on the support apparatus having support frame 4 for the support of energy storing axle 2 which holds the revolution in a direction counter to that of energy storing axle 2 driven by energy storing motor 3.
