Abstract

The invention provides a thread-tension detecting sensor capable of detecting the tension of a thread with good accuracy even when a thread-tension measuring range is changed. The thread-tension detecting sensor 1 comprises a base member 2 deformable upon subjecting to a load; a distortion detecting element 5 for detecting a distortion; a thread guide 4 belonging to a load detection point; and a load transmission member 3 for transmitting the load applied on the thread guide to the base member and converting the load into a measurable range capable of altering the tension of thread.
