A motor stator mainly comprising: a stator core; a resinous insulating cover disposed on the stator core; a plurality of phases of coils wound on the stator core from above the insulating cover; and a plurality of recessed parts juxtaposed in the insulating cover for insertion of rotating wires (connection wires) each having a different phase, which is characterized in that: the bottom faces of adjacent recessed parts exist a step (step difference).
